Had a Dad by Jane's Addiction always makes me think of Robert Baratheon...

The only song for Daenerys is Meu limão, Meu limoeiro by José Carlos Burle, better known in the U.S. as Lemon Tree, sung by various artists, notably Peter, Paul and Mary...

When you and I argue about the color of saffron, I get Mellow, Yellow stuck in my head.

The Prophet's Song by Queen reminds me of The Long Night, with it's lines like:

Oh, oh people of the earth
Listen to the warning
The prophet he said
For soon the cold of night will fall
Summoned by your own hand.

and:

He told of death as a bone white haze
Taking the lost and the unloved babe
Late too late all the wretches run
These kings of beasts now counting their days.

Also Estranged by Guns'N'Roses reminds me of Jaime Lannister, especially this part:

When I find out all the reasons
Maybe I'll find another way
Find another day
With all the changing seasons of my life
Maybe I'll get it right next time

"Something the Boy Said" from Sting's Ten Summoners tales

When we set out on this journey
There were no doubts in our minds
We set our eyes to the distance
We would find what we would find
We took courage from our numbers
What we sought we did not fear
Sometimes we'd glimpse a shadow falling
The shadow would disappear
But our thoughts kept returning
To something the boy said
As we turned to go
He said you'll never see our faces again
You'll be food for a carrion crow

Every step we took today
Our thoughts would always stray
From the wind on the moor so wild
To the words of the captain's child
Something the boy said

In the circles we made with our fires
We talked of the pale afternoon
The clouds were like dark riders
Flying on the face of the moon
We spoke our fears to the captain
And asked what his son could know
For we would never have marched so far
To be food for a crow

Every step we took today
Our thoughts would always stray
From the wind on the moor so wild
To the words of the captain's child
Something the boy said

When I awoke this morning
The sun's eye was red as blood
The stench of burning corpses
Faces in the mud
Am I dead or am I living?
I'm too afraid to care, I'm too afraid to know
I'm too afraid to look behind me
At the feast of the crow
We spoke our fears to the captain
And asked what his son could know
For we would never have marched so far
To be food for a crow

Something the boy said

Septon Meribald, Elder Brother, and many more had the right of it.  This song has always reminded me of all those naive young men and boys who were made to march off in some Lord's war never to return.  We even have a book named A Feast for Crows;)

Ok, ok, how about this one...

I Know a Little by Lynard Skynard for Jon in the cave with Ygritte when he gave her the lord's kiss?

Say I know a little
I know a little about it
I know a little
I know a little 'bout it
I know a little 'bout love
And baby I can guess the rest!

For the Many-Faced God:

Who by fire? Who by water? Who in the sunshine and who in the nighttime? Who by high ordeal? Who by common trial?

This version is a little creepier than Leonard Cohen's...

I literally can't hear this song without thinking about Bran.

For the winged wolf:

Ice is forming on the tips of my wings
Unheeded warnings, I thought, I thought of everything
No navigator to find my way home
Unladen, empty and turned to stone
A soul in tension that's learning to fly
Condition grounded but determined to try

For the Imp:

Been in a palace, been in a jail
I just don't want to be reborn a snail
Just want to spend eternity right where I am
On the sunnyside of the street
As my mother wept it was then I swore
To take my life as I would a whore
I know I'm better than before
I will not be reconstructed

NONE MORE BLACK LYRICS

"Budapest Gambit"

The last few lines at the end of the song:

Quote

Blame it on the winter

Blame it on the sun
Blame it on the avalanche that tumbled and crushed
Blame it on the weekends
Blame it on the blues
That blocked the light from seeing the good in front of you
Blame it on the ones who blame it all on you
They did the best they could
But they couldn't pierce your skin
Blame it on the subtext
Blame it on disease
Blame it on the money
Blame it on the freeze
Blame it on the jester; the one who wears a frown
Blame it on the King, the Queen and burn this kingdom down

Viva La Vida - Tyrion

Who let the dogs out - The Cleganes

And for me, Rhaegar's has got to be: As Time Goes By

You must remember this
A kiss is still a kiss
A sigh is just a sigh
The fundamental things apply
As time goes by

And when two lovers woo
They still say: I love you
On that you can rely
No matter what the future brings
As time goes by

Moonlight and love songs - never out of date
Hearts full of passion - jealousy and hate
Woman needs man - and man must have his mate
That no one can deny

It's still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die
The world will always welcome lovers
As time goes by

Always worth a listen...

I'm a classic rock guy, so:

"Hey Joe" always comes on in my head when I read about Tyrion in ASOS.

"Behind Blue Eyes"  is my Theon Greyjoy theme song.

"Stepping Razor" is Arya.

"Run to the Hills" is always in my head when Drogo does something.

"Darkstar" is Darkstar.

And the whole damn series, as I've said before, is "Uncle John's Band":

Well the first days are the hardest days, don't you worry any more,
'Cause when life looks like Easy Street, there is danger at your door.
Think this through with me, let me know your mind,
Wo, oh, what I want to know, is are you kind?

It's a buck dancer's choice my friend; better take my advice.
You know all the rules by now and the fire from the ice.
Will you come with me? Won't you come with me?
Wo, oh, what I want to know, will you come with me?

Goddamn, well I declare, have you seen the like?
Their wall are built of cannonballs, their motto is "Don't tread on me".
Come hear Uncle John'n Band playing to the tide,
Come with me, or go alone, he's come to take his children home.

It's the same story the crow told me; it's the only one he knows.
Like the morning sun you come and like the wind you go.
Ain't no time to hate, barely time to wait,
Wo, oh, what I want to know, where does the time go?

I live in a silver mine and I call it Beggar's Tomb;
I got me a violin and I beg you call the tune,
anybody's choice, I can hear your voice.
Wo, oh, what I want to know, how does the song go?

Come hear Uncle John's Band by the riverside,
Got some things to talk about, here beside the rising tide.

Come hear Uncle John's Band playing to the tide,
Come on along, or go alone, he's come to take his children home.
Wo, oh, what I want to know, how does the song go.

And also That's It for the Other One:

The other day they waited
The sky was dark and faded
Solemnly they stated
He has to die, you know he has to die
And all the children learnin'
From books that they were burnin'
Every leaf was turnin'
To watch him die, you know he has to die
The summer sun looked down on him
His mother could but frown on him
And all the others sound on him
But it doesn't seem to matter
And when the day had ended
With rainbow colors blended
His mind remained unbended
He had to die, you know he had to die

So many Grateful Dead songs, Lady With a Fan (phase one of Terepin Station) is one I overlooked for years as being connected to ASoIaF, reminds me of visions & prophecies..

Let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm
That will not forsake me, till my tale is told and done
While the fire lights aglow, strange shadows from the flames will grow
Till things we've never seen will seem familiar

Shadows of a sailor forming winds both foul and fair, all swarm
Down in Carlisle he loved a lady many years ago
Here beside him stands a man, a soldier by the looks of him,
Who came through many fights, but lost at love

While the story teller speaks, a door within the fire creaks,
Suddenly flies open, and a girl is standing there
Eyes alight, with glowing hair, all that fancy paints as fair
She takes her fan and throws it in the lion's den

Which of you to gain me, tell, will risk uncertain pains of hell?
I will not forgive you if you will not take the chance
The sailor gave at least a try; the soldier, being much too wise,
Strategy was his strength, and not disaster

The sailor, coming out again, the lady fairly leapt at him
That's how it stands today. You decide if he was wise
The story teller makes no choice, soon you will not hear his voice
His job is to shed light, and not to master

Since the end is never told we pay the teller off in gold
In hopes he will come back, but he cannot be bought or sold.

Ed Sheeren  I See fire(it could work for some parts of the books)

Oh, misty eye of the mountain below
Keep careful watch of my brothers' souls
And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke
Keep watching over Durin's son

If this is to end in fire
Then we should all burn together
Watch the flames climb high into the night
Calling out for the rope, sent by and we will
Watch the flames burn on and on the mountain side hey

And if we should die tonight
Then we should all die together
Raise a glass of wine for the last time
Calling out for the rope
Prepare as we will
Watch the flames burn on and on the mountain side
Desolation comes upon the sky
