Right. As the bodyguard of the King who had her beaten. As in, Sansa's enemy. While the relationship between Sansa and the Hound was watered down in the show, Brienne has no way of knowing Sansa cares a bit about Sandor.

It doesn't matter whether Brienne knows Sansa cares for Sandor, it matters that Brienne knows who he was and that she knew Sansa knew him and that Arya is not in danger of being with him anymore. So, there is no reason not to tell her it was Sandor. She clearly stated that Arya was not in danger and that she looked good.

The show did, not as explicitly as the books but we have to believe this scene will account for something

I thought of that scene, but as said, it wasn't as clearly as in the books and I feel it won't be playing some role here.

I'd say odds are good that they will arrive during episode 3. It seems like a pretty big Stark episode. Jon is revealed to be alive. Bran witnesses the Tower of Joy (so we even get a Ned appearance). Arya probably gets her sight back while Rickon is probably the Umbers' gift to Ramsey. So it would make sense for Sansa to arrive at Castle Black and give us our first Stark reunion since season one.

I'm uncertain whether it'll be 603 or 604.  I'd think there'd need to be a bit of time reacting to Jon's resurrection (most importantly Jon's own reaction), and depending on how much time there is to spare for the Wall there may not be time for any substantial focus.  Though I suppose Sansa's arrival could be a tag to tease the next episode.  Conversely, the episode is called "Oathbreaker", which would most obviously suggest Jon resolving to fight the Boltons, which in turn would most sensibly occur with Sansa already there.

I noticed that this episode was written by a certain Dave Hill and I also noticed that Sansa in this episode is so different fron the usual show!sansa, she's full of compassion and kindness, is it possible Brian Cogman (the usual writer) doesn't understand  sansa the character because book readers always said that sansa in the show is not sansa in the books, from what I heard he doesn't understand even the other characters like stannis

In this scenario, are we also assuming that after Jeyne Poole, she will be taking the role of Alys Karstark too?

Another arc, another husband. I wouldn't even be surprised.

Not that this has anything to do with Sansa as a character, but the sets they have her on are just stunning. They've done such a great job making her look like a lost princess in a land that's by turns brutal and magical. Her scenes are so fairy-tale-esque, and I think whoever does set design or whatever deserves heaps and heaps of praise.

I agree, it makes her scenes the best ones to watch.

I agree that the line about Arya being with "a man," especially since Brienne knows it was the Hound, was kind of weird.

I think that was just a 'subtle' way of avoiding dealing with Sansa's reaction to it.

Also I think that one more man in Sansa's entourage would've been useful, and Theon even asked for one of the horses to himself. If he wanted to atone, he should have helped escorting her to the Wall and think about his personal businesses after that.

Since there is some speculation of where Sansa will go and what she will do next, I should mention that there are some spoilers about how things turn out not only for her character but for others as well.  The spoilers were from someone who participated in the filming of some really big scenes, and have been confirmed by the trailers.  I won't say anything else unless you really want to know.

In the microcosm of this episode, this is the Sansa we grew to love as the book fans. This is the character who after everything she went through would smile at the mention of her sister, warmly remembering she wouldn't be wearing lady's clothes. A girl who would do all in her power that person who is regretful of their actions find some peace, who would even admit how stupid she was. So, perhaps the man who was writing the episode was different, but they struck several chords with this one.

Yes, I noticed that too. This is the closest Sansa to her book version since Season 4, even maybe 3.

You can say whatever you want, that is up to you :) This thread is not moderated, but I would, just in case, ask one of the mods, for the opinion... Just put everything in spoiler tags.

@HelenaExMachina, do you know what are forum rules regarding this?

I would say things like filming and casting details that have leaked in the standard ways (I.e. Cast photos and so on) are fair game. I would suggest as a simple courtesy putting those details in spoilers though, as some people like to go into each new episode unspoiled, and this thread is primarily an episode-by-episode discussion. In a more general season 6 thread marked as spoilers in the title it's not so bad though.

Things like episodes leaking early aren't to be discussed of course.

Does that help?

It's from reddit, right? Damn, I would like to know where is Sansa going. Wondering about this more than anything.

That is what I have thought :) Thanks...

@bloodsteel bitterraven, so, if you want, you can post it. Just be advised to use spoiler tags.

Yeah... This is the Sansa we love. And as we have previously talked, she looks stunning in that cold environment.

Tormund and she would be such a great red-haired pair... #gingerpower :)

I have no objection of Sansa letting Theon return to his home. She knows what he has been through, she understands longing for home. Yes, he killed Cassel, he betrayed Robb, killed those farm boys, but he has also gone through hell. That hug at the end was Sansa's way of pardoning him and I think that is something that matters to Theon.

And I don't just see it as personal businesses. I think both Sansa and Theon know how important home is, especially for someone with such broken identity. Sansa is well-protected by Brienne. Theon will take a horse to Iron Islands, they have more of them. I think that, when it comes to Sansa, and I also think she feels that way too, he has done enough for her.

Nothing against Tormund, I like gingers, but now she is officially married to Ramsay and any marriage to  Tormund has to wait until Ramsay is dead by show logic. Though a hot affair............

I'm not getting into anywhere with heavy spoilers, but bloodsteel bitterraven might be referring to

Yeah, I know about this. Ithought might know where she'll go and it's kinda important. Whether Castle Black, Littlefinger miraculously or some Nothern lord.

As we know from the spoilers all of them turns out at the battle.

I'm pretty sure she gets to CB, and Davos, Jon and her start rallying the Northern Houses against the Boltons.

I really like Sansa and Theon in this episode.

About her and Tormund... isn't he married? Or that doesn't really matter between the Free Folk?  I just can't see that happening xD. But they would be definitely a powerful couple!

Tho if I was Sansa, I would never marry again... lol.

TormundxSansa is just a pairing of gingers, nothing too serious. Ginger jokes have a long history here on forums :)
