The exposition of each scene is identical, from the swordplay to the falling boy, from the verbatim dialog to the affectionate tussle of the hair.  It's most assuredly by design. Much ado about nothing, perhaps, but again, their dead-on similarities struck me as curious.

This very interesting...

It shows how Jon has a brotherly love for Ollie and that's why it was so difficult to kill him in the end, despite the betrayal. There could also be a parallel in that Jon is becoming respected authority figure in the North as Ned was. I also think Jon is learning from Ned's and his own mistakes of putting too much trust in the wrong people.

If it was deliberate, and THOUGHTFUL (I know, unlikely), it would be evidence against the hypothesis that Hodor got that way from being hit in the head.  I doubt Ned would use the same term for a head injury during training with Jon if a training accident with Hodor in his youth resulted in brain damage, after Ned had warned him the same way.
