Adam Shanks
So the 3er has been sitting in a tree for a thousand years waiting for Bran... Bran shows up, prematurely enters a dream on his own, cuts his training short and inevitably leads to the 3er's death. Why isn't the 3er even just a little bit pissed off? Would be a bit like going for lunch with a friend but they are running late... They show up an hour late and spill your dinner all over you! Wasted. Bini Bini
He probably has seen it coming, just not sure when. Just like Jojen knew how he's going to die.

AegonBurzumOfTheLightsBane
Well we know Bloodraven can look into the past, but other than that initial vision he gave Bran involving the man armored like the sun & the giant with black blood, he hasn't exactly displayed much prophetic abilities, but saying he probably saw it coming still doesnt sound like a stretch..but yeah, youd think hed be pretty pissed about that, unless hes learned to adapt really well over the years. Maybe he successfully did what Varamyr did before taking over the wildling woman & he managed to upload himself into the Weirwood net or in a more omnipresent way The being there for 1000 years comment really had me confused..just to have him be more mysterious they never reveal hes a Targaryen, and only 110-120 years old or so? They could have even explained his connection to Maester Aemons era for show-only viewers, no need to explain the Blackfyre rebellion, just that he was a Targ bastard who used to be Lord Commander of the Nights Watch (maybe some Jon foreshadowing thrown in their like Aemons comment last season of a Targ alone in the world being a terrible thing)..Their handling of him was intriguing but really confusing from that standpoint. Rubicante
I don't understand why the Three Eyed Raven didn't try to escape with Bran and Meera. On the show, he's just some old dude sitting in the middle of a bunch of branches. No roots are growing through him. He could have found a different tree to sit in later on. ummester
Anyone ever consider he was happy for Bran to lead to his demise after being stuck in a goddamn tree for 1000 years? Anyone ever consider the CotF trapped him there as a means to their own ends?

How did the 3ER not know this was gonna happen anyway? Sitting In a tree for a thousand years waiting on Bran you might think he would have peeked into the dude's future. Slaysman
Well the 3ER could also be very pragmatic and decided to download "everything" instead of bitching about that mistake.
