Varys's privates and Brightflame

A popular theory is that Varys is a descendant of Aerion (Brightflame).

When Varys was a young slave, a sorcerer bought him and cut off his private parts to the fire to ask a question.  When Aegon the Unlikely was little, Brightflame thrust a dagger between his legs and threatened to cut off his privates so he'd have a sister.  I haven't seen it posted before, and I just thought of it now, but I believe these acts are related.  We've seen a lot of people burned as sacrifice, but this is the only instance where only a specific part was burned.

This is evidence that Varys is a descendant of Aerion, but it also gives us a clue as to who was asked the question by the sorcerer - most likely it was to summon the spirit of either Brightflame or Aegon the Unlikely.  Brightflame being more likely from the ritual, but I can't think of any good questions to ask him.  Aegon would be able to answer a lot of interesting questions.

Occam's Razor.  The ritual likely called for the burning of private parts, and I the sorcerer would much rather use someone else's than his own.
