Well, in the Inside the Episode, D&D confirm that Jon and Sansas relationship will contain conflict going forward. :crying:

Their passion will continue to torment Jon and Arya throughout the trilogy, until the secret of Jon's true parentage is finally revealed in the last book.  [GRRM 1993]

It seemed to me that they were saying Dany was going to marry Jon. What do you think?

I liked how Jon was almost elected, wildings bringing some democracy up in here. I can't believe how many people are calling Jon an usurper. Like really, even Sandra agrees with the Kitn proclamation. I think she is more worried about LF. She pretty much read between the lines of what Lf said. She realized, he only cares for himself. Gives some speech on how He sees himself in the It, and her at his side. Then immediately talks about Sandra rallying the North. She realized he is a huge threat, and when Jon is proclaimed Kint  by the major North houses, she is happy, then looks a LF and worries. She doesn't underestimate him. I have huge hopes for Sandra next season and I'm Hoping she out plays LF. And the audience.

And then both Kit and Liam said that Jon not listening to Sansa will lead to conflict next season.

I mean, who knows how much the actors actually know, but that combined with D&D has dampened my KitN joy massively.

I can deal with drama just as long as it doesn't lead to one or the other dying.

This was how I read it as well. Littlefinger will try to drive a wedge between the two but ultimately Sansa will recognize it and ultimately use him to solidify her control over the Vale before killing him. The student becomes the master. It's also very telling that because of Littlefinger's Achilles heel he revealed himself and his desire to Sansa. Now she is the ONLY person who recognizes his threat but us also the only person uniquely trained to neutralize it ... By none other than himself!  Gotta love the irony.

Cersei will give Qyburn the girls next season? Now that her show counterpart has reached the right type of insanity for it to be believable?

Could be. I think it depends on how long Cersei reigns. They've done a decent job of establishing that Qyburn is basically Dr. Frankenstein with a few extra twists but it is HBO and they have a pretty high shock value bar to top thanks to Ramsay's torture porn.

Nope and nope.

Only one more piece of information than we have in the books and that is that Jon is in the ToJ. And that was obvious. We have known Jon isn't Ned's child from the start.

We don't know whose baby he is. It is almost certain Rheagar is the father but we still have no evidence Lyanna is the mother.

As with the books, R+L=J is way to obvious to be right.

This is literally one of the most dumbfoundingly stupid posts I've ever read. Congrats dude lmao

A few things:

Now that Cersei had Tommen killed, I think we can safely assume that Jaime will be the valonqar in revenge of the killing of his last child and kill her. I believe it might actually happen while Cersei is trying to convince him to hav more babies with her.

The only thing I could think while the entire Great Hall was hooting and hollering about Jon was
"Guys, we've been through this already, and last time it didn't work out well."

Also, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams get prettier every episode. Geez.

Hmm...Just remembered a theory that says that Arya and Jon might become lovers. What if the show takes this approach, except with Sansa and Jon? It will solidify his hold on the north and will not be as awkward now that we have confirmation he is Sansa's cousin, not half brother.

I think Sansa obviously wants to go South to take the Freys and of course King's Landing and the Lannisters. Jon will insist on focusing on the Night King. Frankly he doesn't really give a shit about being King of anything let alone Westeros. He wants to defend the North from the Others. Sansa needs to convince him that the only sure way of doing it without being ignored like he was for most of the series is to become King of Westeros. I think that will be the heart of the conflict between the two next season.  It would make sense for that to end with Littlefinger death and Jon being forced to go with Sansa's plan because the Wall is going to fall and Jon has to retreat South.  I think Bran causes the Wall to fall somehow and joins back up with Sansa and Jon. On way South they will also pick up Arya which would reunite all the living Starks. Bran can also tell Jon his parentage which would cement his claim to the throne.

Dany will come at King's Landing from the south with a completely fucking stacked deck. The entire Dothraki clans, the Unsullied, all of Dorne and The Reach AND three motherfucking dragons??!?!  WIth BOTH Varys AND Tyrion advising her?  I mean are you kidding me?

Not sure if the series was as clear as the book but we know from prophecy that Cersei will be killed by Jaime and supplanted by Dany. The only thing I'm unsure of is whether Jaime survives. My instinct tells me no

Ultimately I do think Jon and Dany join forces to beat back the Others and marry but it will be political. I think Jon remains in the North to rule there as her Warden because he feels he owes it to his people and the wildlings. Dany stays at Kings Landing as Queen but can't be with Jon. So that will be bittersweet ending GRRM hinted at.

I think Tyrion as sole surviving Laninister will get Casterly Rock and be Warden of the East as well as remain her Hand. I think it would be very ironic if Sansa wound up marrying Tyrion anyway which would be the biggest play politically and also serve to unite the two most powerful families that had been deadly enemies before.

Anyway just my thoughts on what could happen in the home stretch.

Jaime might kill Cersei in the show (although it'd be a lot more believable if they had spent at least one episode before now setting up their eventual separation), and it may even be because Jaime believes that Cersei had Tommen killed.

But, uh, she didn't have him killed. She's obviously a despicable piece of shit, but I have no idea why you're saying that she had him killed. She actively prevented him from joining the trial in order to save him from a death by burning alive - she, of course, myopically didn't predict that destroying everything dear and important to him might drive him to suicide, but she decidedly did not have him killed.

Tommen killed himself? I didn't get that from the episode. You're right that she did prevent him from a flaming death, but I must've missed it where it was apparent he did so. Wouldn't she have been more distraught about it?

I can't tell if you're trolling or just somehow missed a very important scene from the episode. Tommen jumped out of a window in the red keep after finding out what happened at the Sept.

I think the reason she didn't seem more distraught was due to her acceptance of the inevitable and her unstable state of mind.

Yeah she's spent most of this season (maybe last season too) somewhat resigned to the truth of the prophecy that her children would all die. Seems like she's basically numbed of the pain through her acceptance of her fate.
I wonder if she will suspect Jaime will kill her though? lol
