[mod] Your regular reminder, people: this thread is to rate the episode, giving your opinion of that particular slice of the show. It's not the thread to give your opinions of people who rated the episode differently than you did. We don't have a thread like that.

We're interested in what you thought of the episode: we're not interested in what you think of people who disagree with you. [/mod]

ANNND thats it for another season.  Ill end it with an 8.4 with the thought that I wont be have to come back here to sort through the whining, moaning, ratings war and trivia arguments till next year.

Now that is the way it is done.  You really dont want to mess with Cercei!

Did Frankengregor start by blinding the Septa so that Cerceis prediction was true?

Didnt forsee Thommen throwing himself out of a window but again I guess he had to for the prophecy to be fulfilled.  Who else stepped out of a window that way in the last few seasons, movie or series.  Driving me crazy trying to remember.

Sorry to see Margaery die that way but again Im guessing it motivated Thommen.

Looks more and more like Dany is going to end up on the Iron Throne (in the show), dont see how she can fail with her allies but GRRM is never this predictable.  Where is Gendry with his valid claim?

Many great tidbits this episode.  Adios to the Grand Maester, about time, stand up straight.  Sand snakes are no match for a thorn bush. Arya becomes a Chef (and butcher). Jon being Lyannas son was not great surprise but many that just speculated on it are now vindicated. Lady Mormont put everybody in their place.

Music was great as usual but really noticeable this episode.  Usually more background.

8/10 - SEEING MANDERLY OMGGG

Not a 10/10 cause of Dorne and Varys teleporter back in full action I see.

Dorne I didn't mind. was varys on the ship at the end I thought was rediculous. Dany took him in pretty easily, dissapointing. I wanted to see him explain himself a bit.

Nope. No mention of who dad was

I voted 9 just because of a bunch of good feels. But really plenty of flaws, as per usual.

Agreed. I gave it a 9

Finally. This won't stop the idiotic book parentage threads though.

Haha ur right

Yeah, I'll give that a 10.

I won't for the season though. There was way too much stuffed into this episode that should've been spread out better. For instance, the sept and all that probably should've blown up in ep8, that way the Dornish stuff could also be in ep8, and it wouldn't be quite as absurd for Varys to be in Meereen in ep10.

Yes I agree here. Wud liked to have seen jorah

4/10

Overly rushed plots. The writers dragged the series on and on for almost two seasons, had endless number of appalling cock jokes and then they cram everything in one episode. Lyanna was seen once before on the show. How on Earth are the unsullied viewers supposed to connect immediately who is on the bed dying!?!  Various using LF's teleport. Sand snakes ruling the city of Dorne. Queen of Thornes being all chummy with them all of the sudden. Nonsense and stupidity. Good CGI all aroound, but there is NO Ghost. Even in the scene where Jon Snow is called the White Wolf. I wrote again and again about the lack of talent in D&D's writing and I am not going to bother again. One word will suffice - lazy.

But Jon's dad must be a Targ, otherwise why was Lyanna so afraid Robert would kill it? So, Jon's dad was either Aerys or Rhaegar and considering it has been mentioned that Lyanna and Rhaegar got it on in show - it's not hard to connect the dots.

But I ask again, even if Robert would have killed baby Jon, could Mel have brought him back? It seems pointless to worry so much about protecting a baby who was destined to die and be resurrected anyway anyway.

Great episode.  Gave it a 10. Jon's parentage and the king in the north was great, especially since it was young lady Mormont who rallied the troops.  She is going to be a great ally down the road I feel.

Really the only thing that bothered me, but often does about this show now that the books aren't there to save the day, is the flow of time inconsistencies.  Varys warping from Dorne onto Dany's ship was dumbfounding.  They could have at least shown his ship meeting with her fleet or something of the sort, but this way it honestly just seemed like he has some sort of teleportation magic.

Wow. Just when I thought this show couldn't get worse it does. I mean, I rated every show this season a 1 with the exception of one episode which I have a 2 and one episode which I gave a 3. The season finale was so bad that it brought the average down lower than the 1.

This was so terrible I am still trying to wrap my head around it. I mean, awful. I mean, I have seen better character development on episodes of Scooby Doo.

There was not a single valuable word of dialogue all season. However, this episode was so amazingly bad it should win some kind of award for most terribly written tv show in the history of television.

I will voice my particular complaints in the complain without repercussions as I feel it is a better forum. However, I will say that "rank amateur" doesn't come close to the sloppy level of discourse on this show.

Earlier on in the season I had said that the show was the quality of bad chuck lorre tv like two and a half men or two broke girls. Frankly, two broke girls far exceeds game of thrones in script quality at this point.

True, the cock jokes on 2BG are funnier.

I have seen porno with better story lines and internal logic and Scooby doo villains have better plot arcs and character development.

Why do you watch if you rate 8 of the 10 episodes a rating of 1?  If I hate something that bad I stop watching.
