I don't even think they are going for that. I think they are setting up a Sansa as Catelyn thing when Bran shows up. She will back Bran over Jon. They can't even let the Starks get along. Or savor any sort of victory.

And I bet LF aligns himself with Cersei. He will just lie to her once again. And there will be a showdown, where he tries to take Winterhell and put Sansa's head on a spike. And his head will end up on a spike instead.

Well if she knows Bran might be alive, she could have simply communicated that to Jon, being a Boss Ass Individual and all.

Plus, I have hard time believing that book Jon would hose Bran out of Winterfell.

Benioff said she's jealous and angry because Jon won't listen to her. She doesn't trust him. And the actors said she's just like Catelyn, and implied she's going to cause trouble.

WTF? They completely failed to convey that in the episode itself. So much incompetence from everyone involved.

Hahaha!  She even pick up F Troop and McCale's navy and still have a stunning victory!  One she clearley owes to her clever Hand of the Queen!   :ack:

Yeah, Dany’s going to be like, “Damn, I have all these armies, allies, and dragons, and Cersei’s got like ten guys to do battle with, three of who are in wheelchairs and another two who are on oxygen tanks. I should have brought Daario with me.”

Also I LOL'd at the tiny little candles melting into the Wildfire. What even was that plot? The Maesters don't know Jeor Mormont died because Maester Aemon got sick before the election, never mind him sending the ravens off long before that? Tower of Joy was so dully handled. This show is made with zero effort and imagination, seriously.

And the entire North basically listens to a 10-year-old child?

I suppose she belittled their mental manhood.

(Unless you count Chubby and his fleet of double wide trailers).

Now forget about dragons, 100,000 chubby guys with 100,000 trailers that can sail and drive around are a true menace.

50000 with batfinger's teleporter and the other half with varys's improved version... All of them with arya's healing abilities and you got yourself an army that will win any war... Add ser twenty good men who was missing because of a wound during winterfell's battle and you got yourself kingsguard fit for gods.

Tommen's death was like joffrey's scene from that stannis the mannis montage where he says nope nope and retreats. Very stupid and amusing at the same time... But what can we do i guess Cersei really loves her crown and being a queen.

Walder Frey's death was so poorly done it's a shame, here we have Arya the immortal teleport to the twins and kill men left and right just srsly fuck off D and D...

Why was Glover at winterfell?

Wasn't Cerwyn a kid that watched his mother and father flayed and they still shame(or try to i couldn't really see too dark lightning)him for not going to die at starks beck and call...

Those dumb ass dragons are grown like 300 years old or at least a 100-150 not 5 or however are supposed to have passed..

Bad pussy battalion   has taken control of Porne and all other limp dick houses have submitted. As of today they are joined by Olenna the oldest bad pussy in existence.

That show is just a bloody fan service with no afterthought to it at all...

Probably because the director and actress have a different perspective.  Again with D&D contradicting themselves.

Absolutely they failed to convey that.

Once again we have the situation of D & D trying to do one thing, but it coming off completely  different.

Yeah, she’ll probably pick up the 4th Soviet Airborne Corps, the Afrika Corps, I MEF, and the Grand Armee of 1805 along the way, with everything else, but D & D will probably try to convince us that Dany is going to have a really hard time taking Westeros.

Hahaha. Exactly. And you know it's because Carol Queen Tapistry is not only going to be the greatest queen but also the greatest general as well.

At this point, I assume someone's pet is calling the shots for this show.

So pretty much everything that Boss Ass Person did to convince Mr. "I'm leaving the North I don't want to fight anymore" to actually fight and then basically saving the entire North with the Vale army (forget how she did it, the fact is she did it) has been credited to the new KitN? Really?
And we're supposed to be entirely sympathetic towards him? Why exactly? At this point, both of them come across as entirely stupid and unworthy of sympathy.

Yeah, I broke down and watched the finale....and what I thought it was supposed to mean was her consternation that she sees LF isn't happy and she's worried for Jon.

Not that she's upset because he's been named King.

Although this isn't the first time that Sophie's acting didn't convey what they said was happening, same with Brienne at the inn when she was supposed to be giving a helpful 'get out of dodge' look and it came off as 'get the fuck out of her '

They really do hate the Starks.  Like the depth of their Stark hatred is bottomless.

Benioff also said we should be worried for Jon because they paralleled Robb's King of the North scene. But at the same time, he has done well, going from dead to King of the North.

Probably a cat or an iguana.

Not that i have anything against cats. I'm a cat person. But direwolves, people. Direwolves.

Ugh.  Seriously Daenerys has a greater advantage than fucking Aegon I Targayen ever did.  His army and fleet were small and pathetic.  He relied on his dragons.  She honestly doesn't even need hers.  She's got 100000 Dothraki screamers, the Reach and Dorne's men and ships (doesn't the Reach have the second largest navy?), half the Greyjoy fleet, and 8000 Unsullied.  Even without her huge-ass dragons that can lay fleets and cities to waste, she's got more than enough to sweep up the entirety of Westeros.  And we're supposed to buy that her taking the Iron Throne would be difficult?

We have yet to see a Northern crown. Robb had one in the books and Jon is now king. Nothing. They spend budget money to turn Poor Carol who used to be Cersie into Sheryl the Black and Jon probably and Bran after he returns, will never get a crown. They cannot even bother to have Ghost lying in front of the Great Table for all of the Lords to see when Jon is called "The White Wolf".

I kind of thought that Tommen's death as a result of her plot was a little too underplayed.  Not that she needed to tear her hair out, but it was such a blah response, at least they might have had a convo that would give some better illumination to her deranged state of mind.

I thought it was GROSS that I read some reviewers saying they were happy the Septa was getting tortured?!  For fucks sake, WTF is wrong with people?!

It was unfair of Catelyn (in the books) to distrust Jon, but also clear what her reasoning was (her knowledge of the Blackfyre Rebellion).

It's not clear why Sansa should distrust him.

So the end of this season has basically made several characters irrelevant at this point:

  • Brienne
  • Mel
  • Davos
  • Jorah

I'm sure I'm missing some. What is to become of them? They should have had Cersei's GPS guided wildfire take them out just so they don't need to be written into weak plots.
