Wouldn't it be more probable that Cersei not being there meant that Cersei tried to escape? Also, why would the trial begin without the King? Also, why did Lancel follow the kid, and how did the kid know he would follow? Why did the kid only stab him once? What if Lancel got there a minute sooner and blew out all the candles?
