no such surge in submissions or entries, but that's okay. We all have lives outside of games.

So, um, 20 hour extension. 12:30 EDT Friday, August 5th

ETA: otherwise, I won't have the time for host things until Monday.

I never seem to have any leftovers. But maybe that's because I do not take the time to prepare more than one acro. no wonder I am doing poorly, with the exception of one round (the Dany round made me feel warm and fuzzy inside).

I now strongly regret not choosing the option I thought was better but felt would be less popular.

it shall be added to the leftovers thread.

I voted for yours for first place. I got my votes posted just under the wire, before the results went up.

You and me both.  Anything would have been better than what I wrote.  Mud sticking on a wall, for example.  :P

I don't always have leftovers myself. Sometimes I come up with just one thing, sometimes I have more. The most I ever had was over a dozen, and that spawned a game of its own. But more doesn't always equal better, sometimes it just means I can't come up with anything good. :P

I want to say that I like my prophecies a little on the puzzling side.  If you think of the prophecies in the books, they are all open to multiple interpretation....or are downright obscure.

I agree, but it's a very tricky balance to perfect between puzzling and saying something.

i have been trying to make prophecies with multiple interpretations but I think it is acceptable if it is obvious to us but wouldn't be to the character at the time of being said. I tried a different tactic last round. It did have two variations of its meaning but it was relatively blunt.

Littlefinger? This should be interesting!

HAHAHA   is 7 a prophecy or a demand?

Either way, thanks go to its author for the laugh

Edited to add: I guess it is hoped to be a self-fulfilling prophecy ;)

I could probably guess who came up with that one.

Yep... though maybe hard to pull off without a chance to explain.

1st: 12. Flower safely, overlooked.  Change guile into the true wolf. (fairly vague)

2nd: 2. Fatherfull son of caring, go into the terrible wild. (Sounds like the house of the undying)

3rd: 6. Forget summer.  Only covert, genealogically interesting, Targaryens tame winter. (maddeningly unhelpful)

4th: 11. Future sways on cousin greenseer imparting trees' true wisdom. (cousin?:P)
