grozeng
That was my worry with Brees which is why I dropped him. I think I am OK with Wentz and Jackson.
grozeng
That did not go at all how I planned. I spent too much too quickly. Not sure I like my team: QB - Wentz, Winston (Jackson) WR - JuJu, Keenan Allen, Cooks, Corey Davis (Fitzgerald, DeSean Jackson, AJ Brown) RB - Bell, Gurley, Coleman (Breida, Ito Smith, Justin Jackson, Ty Montgomery, Damien Harris) TE - Ertz (Herndon) K - Houston's Def - Baltimore I was saving up money to get Henderson as the handcuff for Gurley, and then I noticed I only had a $3 max bid, so not sure what happened there. A lot of my good keepers are up this year, and not sure I have any I bought this year unless Harris, Brown, Herndon shape up. I think I am mediocre this year and not set up for the future. briantw
QB - Sam Darnold ($12) QB - Kyler Murray ($15) QB - Case Keenum ($4, expiring) RB - David Johnson ($39, expiring) RB - Nick Chubb ($12, 3 years left) RB - Aaron Jones ($1, 3 years left) RB - Derrius Guice ($11, 3 years left) RB - Royce Freeman ($3) RB - Derrick Henry ($17, expiring) RB - Darrell Henderson ($4) WR - Chris Godwin ($1, 3 years left) WR - Tyler Lockett ($2, 2 years left) WR - Cooper Kupp ($7, 2 years left) WR - Golden Tate ($3) WR - Keke Coutee ($1) WR - Dante Pettis ($4) WR - DK Metcalf ($3) WR - N'Keal Harry ($3) TE - David Njoku ($5, 3 years left) TE - TJ Hockenson ($5) K - Matt Bryant ($1) DEF - Browns ($2) I like this team a lot. It's still a year away, but it's looking nice and sexy. Still gotta figure out how long I wanna sign these assholes for, though. Derrick Henry is embarrassingly available for anyone who needs a RB. Bronn Stone
Tentative contracts - subject to editing up to deadline I am assuming (and believe it should be a rule) that the normal "can cut without penalty" for retired players does not apply when a player is already retired when drafted (Gronk rule). Aaron Rodgers - $30 - 2 years Miles Sanders - $25 - 1 year Will Fuller - $9 - 1 year Marquez Valdes-Scantling - $4 - 4 years Kareem Hunt - $9 - 2 years Marcus Mariota - $2 - 2 years Rob Gronkowski - $1 - 4 years Geronimo Allison - $4 - 1 year Alexander Mattison - $4 - 4 years Jerick McKinnon - $3 - 4 years Bryce Love - $3 - 4 years Edited September 10, 2019 by Bronn Stone

grozeng
I am OK with Bronn's rule. Is contracts by Saturday reasonable or should we just say Monday since week 1 starts tomorrow.
Jaxom 1974
Bronn speaks sense. Contracts - D. Adams - 4 years K. Johnson - 2 years Mack - 3 years Haskins - 2 years Singletary - 2 years Goodwin - 2 years
Tywin et al.
Not official, but here's who I'd like to extend. Everyone else gets 1 year. Phillip Lindsay - $13, 3 years Alshon Jeffery - $10, 3 years Kirk Cousins - $9, 3 years (this feels gross, might reduce it to two) Rams D - $2, 2 years Amari Cooper- $20, 2 years Justin Tucker - $1, 4 years Duke Johnson - $10, 2 years I feel like I'm forgetting someone. Anyways, is it okay if we go with having to provide a list by Saturday, but not having them locked until the end of MNF? I have to run and will be out of town for a few days and don't have the chance right now to see what my current contracts are. Good luck everyone! grozeng
I was debating between AJ Brown and Marquise Brown the whole draft. I chose AJ who did well, but probably should have gone with Marquise. It was just all the comparisons to DeSean Jackson had me worried he would be schemed against. New Contracts Bell - 2 years Coleman - 3 years J. Jackson - 2 years Herndon -4 years Brown - 4 years Justin Jackson - 4 years Harris - 4 years

Like D-Jax, I'm guessing he's going to be a boom/bust guy, and starting next week he'll be going up against teams trying to win.

I think I took AJ Brown both times. I was going to take Marquise in keeper just in case one was a bust, but regardless, I don't think I would have started him in either league yesterday. I did not think Lamar Jackson had a deep ball either, which worried me. But then again, AJ Brown has Mariotta throwing to him.
