Dr Qyburn M.D
So Viserion was last seen eating corpses infected with the Pale Mare and then returning to its lair atop the pyramid. Anybody else think he might be sick with the Pale Mare and is dying?

JLE
I think it's more likely that he will be *injured* in the battle. One of the incidents in one of the Tyrion preview chapters is Tyrion wiping the blood off a blood-spattered white dragon cyvasse piece. Viserion is the white dragon: and Tyrion has a natural sympathy for injured things - possibly explaining how he manages to tame Viserion, and justifying his ability to do so *without* being a Secret Targaryen. Pretty much this. Viserion is the only dragon associated with Lannister symbolisms, and Tyrion can bond with him during treatment, kinda like Nettles bonded with her dragon feeding the beast.
