well I was looking for the same things in history, such as the Samurai I need an enemy equal to Knights in the battlefield and Samurai were the Knights of Asia. 

 

I asked myself what if instead Islam the Order Militare fought Asian forces,

Or knights and samurai were products of their culture. 

You'll struggle to find many cultures in history where the noble and rich elite didn't hold prominent standing in that culture's military.

The point I was trying to make is that both the Order Militate and Samurai were products of there culture, but the Knight's Templars were the best of Knight culture and Samurai were the best of Japanese culture.

 

So they fight over land that both consider holy or at least want,
