Ser Addam DarkBlood
Who Knighted Rhaegar Targaryen ? We only know that he was knighted at age 17. My theories are: -The obvious one ,His Father. - His friend Ser Arthur Dayne , although the closeness in their age could be a problem. - The Lord commander of the Kingsguard Ser Gerold Hightower. What other theories you Guys Have ? and do you think GRRM will relay this Info in the coming books?
Beautiful Bloody Sword
Good question, one that I've had too for a while. There is nothing that specifically states who knighted him. I personally lean towards Ser Willem Darry, the Maester at Arms of the Red Keep, the man to whom a young Rhaegar turned to when he first requested a sword and armor and decided that he had to become a warrior. A second possibility, that also has no direct affirmation in the text, is a parallel we see with a young Mad King and his preference to be knighted by his best friend who was already a knight, Tywin Lannister. Maybe Rhaegar also opted for that route and was knighted by his BFF, Arthur Dayne.
Lord Wraith
Makes sense for it to be Dayne but we don't know anything. Certainly odd.
