Euron III Greyjoy
Whilst I do agree that this Aegon storyline kind of came out of nowhere, it doesn't annoy me. If he does turn out to be a Blackfyre it makes it even more interesting for me. Plus it makes Varys a much more interesting character. I don't understand how you could have got this far without enjoying the 'southern politics' story. The majority of AGoT & ACoK, and the entirety of AFfC where about southern politics. The Sunland Lord
I don't have a problem with the character except for his blue hair. I just think that it's too much to introduce him that late in the story.
Yukle
It doesn't really feel like it is adding much to the story, does it? It's plot for the sake of it, and we don't seem to learn anything from it. There are enough narrative threads we find interesting already, and it seems that FAegon only serves to add more POV chapters in between the ones by interesting protagonists. And it seems to make the books harder to write in future.
