He was my favorite recurring character on Curb. Richard Lewis a close second. Larry and Marty's battles were legendary. I think my favorite was the Ida Funk roadside memorial. Can never forget Funk's crazy sister and Carpool lane either. RIP.
The BlackBear
Comedian Jeremy Hardy has died at 57 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-47056671 I would think not too well known outside of the UK, and even then probably not very well known off of Radio 4. But he never failed to make me laugh.
Prince of the North
Very saddened to hear of Albert Finney's passing. Rest in peace, Mr. Finney. I didn't even know until now that he eschewed the Oscars and actually declined knighthood! Makes me admire him even more

Martini Sigil
For my entire childhood... Frank Robinson was #3 on the all-time home run list, behind Ruth and Mays... well before the league was watered down.... Albert Finney was prolific... serious screen presence... Bourne villain, Bond ally, Hercule Piorot and Big Fish...

A Horse Named Stranger
Bruno Ganz Suisse character actor. Or as the younger webfolk knows him. Hitler (Der Untergang (the Downfall)) His best role was arguably the angel Damiel who wanted to become human to experience love, touch and life in general (Himmel über Berlin (Wings of Desire) (yes, the movie that was ripped off for City of Angels))
mcbigski
There are even funnier ones out there but i really liked the Civ4 one where Hitler iirc loses to a cultural victory.

dbunting
I remember watching reruns of the Monkees when I was like 5 or 6. I would still listen to some of their songs if they were on the radio today.

TheKitttenGuard
RIP Luke Perry at 52 https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/pop-culture-news/luke-perry-90210-fame-dead-age-52-n979046 90210 was a big deal when I was young and Perry was a big part. His small part as Krusty's half-brother on The Simpsons was great in a episode with many high profile guest stars. I was happy for his part on Riverdale though my interest waned after the first season.
