I think Dany will use the fact that Jon needs the dragon glass and dragons on Dragonstone to her advantage and get him to support her claim for him to use it.

Thats not how Dany does things, iits bend the knee or burn for Jon, the son of a Usurper.

When common fucking sense says she should look for an Alliance with Jon who can deliver the North and the Vale.

I'm hoping for Sam's letter about Dragonstone having been forwarded to Jon, precipitating Jon's discussion about Dany. Doubt he will arrive to see her tonight's ep but by next episode, she should be saying something snarky to him

The All-knowing Bran giving the NW some more clues about how to prepare for what they're up against with the Army of the Dead

Sam having learned more about dragonglass properties and a bit about grayscale

An Arya reunion with not just Nymeria, but HotPie at the inn

Whatever Dany and company begin, let it begin this episode considering we have so few left. Stormborn implies a Dany-centric episode but I think she and Cersei will be more prominent in next one

Less LF and nothing of hipster Euron. Please.

PLEASE NO RAVEN ISSUES!    so Sam finds out where dragonglass can be found and says "I gotta send a Raven to Jon" Now in every other instance, Ravens fly and deliver messages without any problem. Why then do I have the feeling that this raven will either "just miss" Jon, or get sidetracked, or the message will be delivered to someone who is anti-snow. I really don't want to see this cheap, time wasting ploy used. please no.

I'd rather Bran and Jon meet up then Dany and Jon though. Jon better not take off for Dragonstone just before Bran arrives.

Thats exactly what will happen. I see Bran and Meera from a distance moving to Winterfell when Meera spots Jon and his.escort leave the castle.

In the North Jon faces revolt after mulling over the idea or even proposing an alliance with Daenerys, which Lord Royce opposes as we saw from the episode trailer with his line about a Targaryen can't be trusted.  Littlefinger will likely seize on this fracture as a moment to seize and drop some information to Jon, which may be the catalyst to Jon making an aggressive move towards Petted.  If Bran arrives the issue will be muddled somewhat and overshadowed by the reunion, so we'll see if he makes it to Winterfell this episode, though I'd like to see Bran advise the Watch in some measure.

Daenerys's visitor will be Melissandre, who dropped by to pick up the rest of her potions & powders... should be an interesting meeting with Varys and Tyrion present.

Arya reuniting with Nymeria will be cool, but I wonder if Nymeria is a little less than thrilled, mayhaps bitter about being abandoned?

Yara advocates for striking KL, but until we know how the Tyrells and Dorne plan to coordinate their forces, speculation on how this idea or that is bad is kind of silly.  We'll see how things play out because I do suspect Dany's apparent overwhelming advantages are going to be lessened some.  While I don't think Dany will act on Yara's lobby to attack KL, it does strike me that Euron's fleet will be passing very near Dragonstone coming out of the Blackwater Rush.  Possible for some sort of unplanned action or even a response to an attack by Euron, as we know there's some naval battle that takes place from the season trailer, this may be it or the first of many.

Daenerys will make her speech. It has been a while since we have heard it.

The same "I am the Daenerys Stormborn, Queen of the Seven blah blah blah, and I will take what is mine with blah and blah."? Because, yes I expect to hear a lot of her annoying slogans.

You both are right and now I totally am no longer looking forward to tonight's episode.

I hope the unexpected visitor, is Kinvara the High Red priestess from Volantis we saw last season.. I fear we will never see her again in the show..every though that doesn't really make sense (to me at least)..

I hope I will see more Bran..

I also want to do what Melisandre is doing..(she could also be the unexpected visitor..)

We have seen a lot of Hound and Beric, so I don't really missed them..

i hope Arya won't go to Kings Landing yet.. I think we saw Nymeria in trailer.. She doesn't look like the "wolf" from season 1 though...

I want to see Daenerys too.. Do you think Daenerys will sent Ravens to all the Lords of Westeros declaring herself Queen of the Seven Kingdoms asking for fealty, like Aegon the conqueror did?

This is my first comment this year. Happy to be here again!

I kind of like this and yes, all the spoilers seem to point that way.

LF will be looking for any possible crack in the Northern alliance to turn it to his advantage.  Given last series and even previous episode, the obvious would be to rally Sansa's claim against Jon, but I personally think that ship sailed last episode (not meaning "ship" as in romantic one but plot device)... so ... something else..LF doesn't struck me as superstitious and has had no direct contact with anything supernatural that I can think of.  He may not even know "Jon died."  If I were Jon, I wouldn't go advertising it either or posting on facebook lol for it may freak out some northern Lords... He is going (I bet) to make Jon look like a crackpot and get more pragmatic Lords (more concerned about food for winter et al) to have a go at Jon, especially if he is hell bent on going to Dragonstone lol  However, yes, hell, out of the blue backing a Targ could be the issue too.

As for the "visitor" unsure at this moment... Mel could make sense, I guess...but to do what?  To tell her that she is TPWWP or that Jon is (which she seemed to believe last season)

I totally go for Arya/Nymeria reunion.

Cersei is too weak and I could argue Euron has to kick ass for she is too disadvantaged to be a contender lol  I think in the books Aegon (fAegon) will take KL for a time; if the show is anything to go by she will be defeated without much effort or will never be Queen at all; Aegon, IMHO,  likely to be a bad ruler. Too groomed to be "perfect" and failed to charm me at every turn, but hey, that's just me lol   Okay, bias, never liked this character and introduced way to late for me to be invested.  He would not be a weak Tommen or a mad Cersei but again short lived, "me thinks."  He is too "perfect and lacks the charisma IMHO" not to mention the credibility.  The only Lords I can see supporting him are either very dissatisfied with any other option or total Targaryen restorers...

Lol, if Mel turns up, Varys would be terrified!  Tyrion has no quarrel with her thought, he may be skeptical, even rude...mayhaps (but I cannot see why)  but they haven't interacted yet.  Tyrion may in fact fancy her lol although I think his huge IQ would prevent him from going there lol

Unlikely to be Sam because on horrible internship but he would have been the obvious after revelation on last episode,,,  Now, the most shocking (and admitedly most crackpot) would be Jaime!  His words and his body language were very much at odds "methinks."  But given what the actor has said, no, he is still "under the influence..."

Now, Cersei is too disadvantaged here (too much, even with Euron).  In the books I am sure FAegon will make mince with her politically (leave her death for someone else lol) but Lena is great, and much loved by viewers and D&D and from her scene with Jaime likely she even makes it to season 8 (premiere tops though...) but that is just what is at the top of my mind lol

After all I cannot read the flames... lol ;)

Everything is wrapping up for sure.  Trouble is that there isn't enough time to do anything convincingly...I am totally going to involve "teleporters and inconsistencies" because the story has to be told and I certainly couldn't do it in this amount of episodes!!!!

LF will drop knowledge about Lyanna to Jon.  I'm not sure how Petyr knows, perhaps via the Tully household after he challenged Brandon, lost and then received care before Ulster booted his ass.  Anywho... I think simply implying that Ned isn't his father, bastardy and all, will incense Jon initially because of the implications and also a sense of doubt, that Petyr is just trying anything to drive a wedge... I don't think anything comes of it yet, but I suspect if & when Jon & Dany ally, Petyr will use that as a means to make a play for Sansa to declare for her rights, with his help, for her hand, because Petyr is so oblivious to the Other threat.  But Sansa knows he just wants her, actually, her mom, so him making a play for her is doubly creepy.

Mel will certainly be interested in Dany, but will it be mutual for Mel?  Given her poor history of proclaimed AA's and so on may make there way to Dany's,  or Varys' ears... especially burning people.  Dany has yet to face that aspect if the LoL, will she outlaw that?  This will also be Dany's introduction to the Great War to Come, with Tyrion's counsel she'll at least have reason to believe the threat is real.  This may happen in the same scene Yara advocates attacking KL.

The reason Euron will likely do something pretty big and not just once is he's the third act villain, the next Joffrey, Ramsay... looks like the Night King will be the 4th act, but Euron will score some victories else there'd be little tension.  Dany and Tyrion even will suffer some setbacks.  One direction removed as a concern for Cersei aids the overall war.  I think Dorne and the Reach seem to satisfy the south for the show's purposes as it relates to KL.  The North seems as if it'll be at issue for a minute... the East is in the North in terms of the Vale, the westerlands are still theirs for the moment so it seems the south or west if they consider Highgarden west of KL are my guess.

Without having seen any previews or even the trailer, these are my brazen, bold predictions or where I believe the story should be going in episode 2 :

Edd will tell Bran & Meera that Jon and Sansa have retaken Winterfell. A few hours later, Melisandre arrives with a warning that tomorrow there will be an attack on the wall.

Mel speaks with Bran and senses that he has been tainted with the mark of the others, she is repulsed by him. Meera fends off Melisandre. Bran & Meera spend the night at Castle Black. Bran, replays a vision of how the Wall was created. He sees the 3ER holding hands with, some children of the forest and another man is there too, who 3ERaven calls Lord Stark.

Cersei says they can call on support from Littlefinger’s Vale Army. Jaime informs her that the Vale joined forces with Jon Snow’s wildlings and have retaken Winterfell. Cersei thinks that LF has claimed WF in the name of the crown just like she tasked him with doing. She surmises that Jon Snow will never have control of WF due to his bastard status, but considers him a threat none the less. Hoping to distance him self from her, Jaime asks if he should go and parlay with Jon Snow but Cersei demands that Jaime stay by her side.

LF explains to Sansa and Jon that they must go to King’s Landing to negotiate with the crown. Sansa agrees to go with him to Jon's dismay. Sansa assures him she will be ok with Brienne (& Pod) with her.

Yara & Theon are shown fishing and sailing around the coast when they happen upon driftmark where they meet Gendry asking for passage back to the mainland as he says his skiff was ruined in a storm. Yara takes interest in him and says he might make a good cabin boy, Gendry tells her he is good at smithing.

We see Euron's Fleet attacking the Dornish coast. His men surprise attack at night steal all the caskets of wine and even take the sand snakes hostage.

Back at the Wall Meera tells Bran the story of the laughing knight. They slowly begin to kiss, and Bran briefly accesses her memories to a time when her and Jojen visited Winterfell with her father. Bejen says to Howland, "she asked me to give you this letter." Howland looks at it and says "leave it with her body."

At Dragonstone Dany’s crew along with Greyworm and Tyrion, draw up battle plans to attack King’s Landing. Varys informs them that Queen Cersei has taken over the city killing off King Tommen and Queen Margery.

Dany questions if they should allow them the chance to surrender. Tyrion assures her that Cersei would never surrender. Dany states that she wishes to address the people.

Tyrion believes that they will expect an attack coming from the east coast but, will not expect a simultaneous attack from North & South. That night Tyrion & Dany explore the castle they find something interesting in an unexpected area.

Back at WF Jon is in the god's wood when he hears a voice whispering to him. "Jon" It’s the 3 eyed raven,Jon asks." what are you? "I'm your brother" The Raven is perched on a Weirwood root. A tree face appears through the dirt wall. Bran? He asks. Bran tells him to "follow me I have to show you something" He follows him to Lyanna’s grave. The Raven communicates to him and says, look closer. As Jon uncovers a hidden box with a scroll, the scroll says: deliver to Howland Reed.

Please finish off the books. I really enjoyed reading this.
