The Bear #2 Posted July 31, 2017 (edited) I was expecting way worse from Cersei. Is the poison the one Oberyn used on the Mountain? Edited July 31, 2017 by The Bear

plectrum #4 Posted July 31, 2017 I'm not sure this interaction between Jon and Dany is living up to the hype. We've been waiting years for this and it's kind of flat.
plectrum #5 Posted July 31, 2017 Oh good, more Littlefinger/SunTzu bullcrap. I'm kind of disappointed in this episode so far and I was really looking forward to it. Cancel that. Bran's home. AWESOME!

The Bear #12 Posted July 31, 2017 That was kind of anticlimactic until now
plectrum #13 Posted July 31, 2017 I'm sorry, but I'm going to say it. This show was more interesting with intrigue and spycraft and politics. Jumping from battle to battle like this feels rushed.
plectrum #14 Posted July 31, 2017 So, based on the preview, I'm guessing that Jon talks Dany into going north to wipe out the white walkers so that he'll throw his support behind her in the war against Cersei. Now that she has no allies left, he has the leverage to make demands.

The Knight of Flours #19 Posted July 31, 2017 ..Maybe don't creepily recount her rape to her, Bran? Yeah that wedding to Ramsay where she was 'dressed in white' - oh wait, she wasn't..
Stark_in_Winterfell #20 Posted July 31, 2017 Finally, this episode did not dither around with nonsense between minor characters, and got right to the important scenes we need. I loved how Drogon buzzed Jon as soon as he said he was no Stark. The fierceness of Dany made me cringe but Jon stood up to her without pushing her. Interesting balance. As bad as Cersei is, I can't see the wrong in the way she avenges Myrcella's death. Cersei's love for her children is her humanizing quality. No, sadly Tyrion will not be vindicated for Joffery's murder. Tyrion is guilty of being born, unforgivable in Cercei's eyes. I suppose Ghost was left in the North to avoid difficulties. Maybe or maybe not. There was a lot of good stuff in this episode and I'm looking forward to more.
