We need a nickname for these seven badasses. Magnificent Seven is taken. Any ideas?

Suicidal Seven is my vote

At least we know who wrote E6 and E7.

Why keep Dave Hill's name off until this episode?

I missed the text of the scroll.  Did anyone catch it?

Something about someone dead I think

It said at the end

Your Faithful Sister, Sansa

The thing is I don't think Sansa was lying

I think Arya is clouded by her emotions and judgements

I'm going to trust the Stark who was trained specifically to lie and detect lies, even the lies we tell ourselves.

Must be the one Cersei made her send to Robb about bending the knee way back in Season 2? I think...

That note has to be the one Sansa sent to Robb telling him to come south and bend the knee. LF is trying to get Arya to go after Sansa which he thinks he can foil and solidify his position.

So is it looking like Gendry will get the Stormlands while Sam will get the Reach?

And who knew that it would be Drogon and Gilly who would give the reveal that Jon is a true Targaryen?

So Jon is legit.  No biggie.

Well, hopefully it puts an end to the "Jon is still a bastard" and the odd "Jon is the son of ellia" theories.

Probably not though.

Why was this episode even called Eastwatch? I know it's Eastwatch in the North, but episodes usually have double meanings.

It's the note Lyssa sent Cat in season one claiming the Lannisters killed Jon Arryn.

Very meh episode. All preparations but no wow moments. some important things:

1- Gilly mentioned something that may support the idea the Rhaegar got officially married with Lyanna

2- Another Jon Targaryan moment with Drogon

3- Jaime escaping that easy... really? are you that lazy as a writer?

4- more tension between Jon and Danny

5- Super artificial tension between Arya and Sansa, now I am not sure that they are really bad at make a tension just to make Arya and Sansa suprefriends after or they are pretending to be fake just to surprise us at actually being true that one will be against the other... right now it is so obvious that little finger is trying to make one sister against the other just to be caught and killed.... (good idea but really bad executed)

6- The meeting with Cersei for an Armistice because the AoD it was suuuuuper fake... really... out of the blue....

Oh crap.  Never bought into the mad queen theory until now.

lol. Nothing Dany did equates to her being a mad queen. She executed two traitors after giving them a chance to not only bend the knee but take the black as well.

2

Get ready for endless "that's not how annulments work/Rhaegar was removed from the line of succession/Dany is still the rightful ruler" discussions, despite the show literally spelling it out for us.

Yeah, at least in show universe, we should be tinfoil free from now on.

ikr - they running out of iconic phrases from the books

I might have called this one 'Blood of the Dragon' (a - to worry people about Drogon's fate & B)B) the Targ themes in this ep - inc Gendry & maybe c) a few females were real dragons)
