StoneColdJorahMormont
Cersie decided the best place to meet would be some open arena where if dany decided to turn her to ashes she could do so with one flyby...... instead of having the meeting in a closed room in kinglanding surrounded by guards.... doesn't seem like the kind of thing cersei or Jamie with Martin writing them would overlook... If Dany decides to roast her alive, she knows walls won't help her. Like she said, her and Jamies best bet, is to inspire confidence and trust towards Dany, then fuck her over. A gamble yes, but its the only play she has left.
The Bastard of Summer
I find it funny how neither of the 2 promos for the entire season included scenes from episode 7. I mean there was Theon falling to his knees but thats about it.......anyway Cersei thinks she's  smarter than she realky is so I think yes of course shes setting some sort of trap. She's  trying to make Dany feel "secure" by having the meeting in the open. But What I think will absolutely deter Cersei from carrying out any plans is she will see those two dragons that Dany will bring. That's  going to change Cerseis whole game plan. But Cersei will still be a dick and do something stupid to jeopardize the game plan.
StoneColdJorahMormont
I agree being in the castle isn't much safer as written about the burning of harrenhal but at least would give her a chance to evade and find cover.... I mean the dragons wouldn't know exactly which room the meeting was in and as soon as any signs of them attacking were heard/seen she would be able to either slay Dany and run for some sort of cover or just run and find some cover... maybe and underground tunnel or something. plus out in the open the dragons can have controlled casualties... burning only those it wishes to kill.... if it torches the castle yes it will kill cersei Jamie etc... but would also kill all others in there except dany... so that would be Tyrion.. most likely Jon... Jorah... and all her other trusted allies. But out in the open even if it is cersies plan to lure them into a sense of false comfort is really risky business and doesn't leave much room for a plan b if things go tits up. MorpHDoc
So are we gonna get a battle of Highgarden? It seems that Jaime was there and then was with Cersei in the dragon pit. What does that mean?

It's conceivable that after Dany defeated the Lannister army, she sent the Dothraki to meet up with the Unsullied and escort them back toward KL. So at least Dany's going with an army. I also noticed that Dany herself isn't in the preview at all. My theory is that the vision Bran had in Season 4 of a dragon flying over the Red Keep will be next episode when Dany flies into the meeting with Drogon. Those walls ans surroundings look more like Highgarden to me, but it would not make sense now to attack it/defend it since they r looling for truce. the tower of albion
Do you think the King in the North feels self consciously over dressed wearing all that heavy fur in the south? Â

Aderyn
Yep, I think deciding to meet at the Dragon Pit definitely involves some trap on Cersei's part. Probably they will somehow try to use that ingenious dragon crossbow (if they managed to recover it / if they made another one). I'm still hoping for a Cleganebowl in the Dragon Pit, but didn't see the Hound in the trailer so not sure. Not sure if Dany arriving on Drogon would be a wise move, but it seems likely, based on Bran's vision. If Dany brings her dragon(s), army and fleet to King's Landing, I have a feeling things will eventually escalate and the truce will break at the very end of the episode. Possible deaths may include Hound (if Cleganebowl happens) and Grey Worm.
the tower of albion
Has any one counted up the unsullied yet? I think it's 14 men per front line and five lines deep?
StoneColdJorahMormont
I don't think knowing the totals of each army matters that much on this show.... it seems whoever the writers decide they want to win... end up having the largest army on the day regardless of previous counts.... i'm pretty sure if every unsullied were killed in battle leaving just greyworm in the very next battle greyworm would stroll out with another 20.000 magically. the tower of albion
According to Sky Atlantic the episode is called the dragon and the wolf. Once upon a time there was a dragon and a wolf ........

tugela
Daenerys and Jon are going to produce their wight thinking that will impress Cersei into falling in line with them, but Cersei will just look at them and go "Ho hum....not impressed", and get the mountain to take his helmet off. Then she will spring the trap she has been preparing. Cersei already knows about the undead because she one of her own. She is NOT going to be impressed by what the other side claim in that regard. In her situation someone would just assume that the other side have the same weapons she has developed. Sort of like when Truman tried to impress Stalin at Yalta with hints of the new atomic bomb, but Stalin just stared calmly at him, since he already knew all about it and had his own people copying the Americans. As far as Cersei is concerned all this is about buying time for her plans to mature.
