To all of you who love the blowing (of Horns)

I will remember you and laugh out loud if the NK will blow the horn and turn the dragon to his will.

What are you talking about?

If it's the show, we already saw what happened: the NK got a dragon by killing and wighting it, and used it to take down the Wall, no horns involved.

If it's the books, there is no NK, or any comparable character.

So, either way, it makes no sense.

And so the whole plan of NK boiled down (pun intended) to go circles for like 8000 years untill some idiot flies a dragon before his face.

Major facepalm.

:-)

Yes, but a simple plan is not the worst idea.
And if you're undead you migt have enough time to walk in cicles for some thousand years...

But the tunnels in the wall have always been the most vulnerable part. That´s where the wildlings tried to get through. So why wouldn´t the Army of the Dead try to get through in the tunnel at Eastwatch as well?

It's no coincidence that they started becoming active when Daenerys and her dragons came about and magic returned to the world, so I think it is erroneous to say they have been sitting about for 8,000 years. They probably "awakened" around the same time

Uuhm, they were active before Daenerys received her dragon eggs. S1E1 intro was a WW killing off Waymar Royce and his party of rangers.
It wasn't until Ned was named Hand and arrived in Kingslanding that Daenarys was married and received the eggs, so they must have been active for quite some time.

Also, Waymar and his party were sent out to find where the wildlings had disappeared to. This points to Mance already working on gathering all the free folk, because of the WW threat. To conclude: No, WW's were most definitely already very active before Daenerys hatched her 3 dragons.

I Think it would have been cool if this have happened:

When Bran/Meera are brought past the wall at Castle Black by Edd (7x01), the wall would suddenly start to glow in a eerie blue color and make a weird, creepy sound for a while. Everyone freaks out and asks what happened. Then Bran remembers the Night King marking him and that him entering past the wall have dispelled the magic barrier the wall had completely.
