Fictional Characters and Places That You Wish Were Real ?

Recommended Posts

1. Paladine from Dragonlance.

I'd like Fizban the Fabulous to run around but it'd be nice to just have the epic Lawful Good Dragon version of God moving around, kicking ass and taking names while also reassuring the world is a better place.

2. The United Federation of Planets from Star Trek

I'd probably moved to Kronos or Bajor but I'd like them to be there to extol the virtues of science as well as good will to humanity.

3. Superman from DC comics

Because Superman.

4. Mystra from Forgotten Realms

Because she comes with the Weave and Magic as a whole.

5. Ozma of Oz

Weirdly, not necessarily Oz itself but because she shows up in Wearing the Cape as a superhero and that is AWESOME.

The mines of moria and Bakker's Cunuroi mansions.  Right in the wheelhouse for those interested in sculpture, spelunking, architecture, gloom and doom, and classical tragedy.

It reminds me of Neuschwanstein, but that was a fantasy castle, not one that was built to project power.

Neuschwanstein is a 19th century fantasy castle, but it was built on the site of a real medieval castle and its layout roughly follows that of the Wartburg.

I never understood that. You got the holo deck!

Question at my Star Trek RPG table:

"Does the holodeck clean itself on the Enterprise or do they have someone who squeegies it? Because I don't want to go in after someone else's fantasies."

"That's more a question about Quarks than the Enterprise."

"Is it? Is it really?"
