Consigliere
Hopefully Wenger sees it that way too. Expecting a 3-4-3 at the weekend though.

MercenaryChef
koln's traveling support was absolutely awesome! the passion of the supporters sadly didn't carry through to a win for the team.

Rorschach - 2
... Didn'† watch. Glad I didn't. (Also, that cross was accidental, but I felt it was symbolically right.)

Consigliere
Bournemouth were looking pretty dire until Ibe came on. He's made all the difference upfront and was instrumental in both of the goals.
Jordan La Cabra
Southampton have started really well against Crystal Palace, who look no better so far. Palace really need to win this game, considering their next three PL fixtures are Man City away, Man United away and Chelsea at home.
Consigliere
Palace are still crap. Lots of huffing and puffing but very little quality.
Jordan La Cabra
I've been quite impressed with RLC; other than him and occasionally Townsend, they look like relegation fodder.
Consigliere
You know you are shit when Andros Townsend is one of your best players. I think TFM has done quite well too in a difficult situation. Probably been their best defender and I don't recall him making any major individual errors. Jordan La Cabra
That really was poor from Palace. There seems to be a real lack of leadership in their squad. No one wanted to take the game by the scruff of the neck, apart from RLC. Milivojevic was quite impressive, too. 5 games, no points, no goals. It's going to be quite some job keeping them up. Southampton were very efficient today, though. Always helps when you can bring apparently the only man capable of saving Liverpool's shambolic defence (VVD) on to shore things up. Milner, Coutinho and Sturridge starting for Liverpool; still no Ox. But, wasn't he going to Liverpool to play centre midfield???
A Horse Named Stranger
Back from the stadium, and fucking done with the weekend, esp. with regards to football related stuff. Bunch of useless tossers all of them... I guess, I will switch over to chess coverage for the day.
AncalagonTheBlack
What a fucking joke our defence is.Can't believe Klopp keeps giving Klavan chance after chance. ETA: good goal by Salah.
Jordan La Cabra
Man City making light work of Watford. Looking a lot like the brilliant Man City of the first 6 games of last season. Here's hoping it all comes to pieces like it did back then...
Nas!
West Ham's five man defense vs West Brom's zero man attack turning out as promised so far.
kairparavel
Fans watching Newcastle or Liverpool or West Ham in the States had the pleasure of waiting almost til the end of the first half to be able to log in and watch their teams on the pay for service that was once part of our cable subscription. What a failure. It would have been different had NBC charged up front when they won the contract some five years ago, but they didn't. Their big marketing win was EVERY game, EVERY week. Anyways, blah. But now that Liverpool fans have been inconvenienced, perhaps they may rethink this.

He's not very good but I'm not even sure he's worse than Lovren. Kinda wish Klopp would go with Matip/Gomez. Rather a promising young player be out there making mistakes than Lovren or Klavan. Sturridge should have scored a couple that half.

Yeah at this point in time i've given up on any defensive solidity.Clearly our defenders are neither world class talent nor do they seem capable of learning from mistakes.I have no idea what Klopp thinks in reality. We will just have to score tons of goals for any chance of finishing top 4 this season.
