The Dayne Heir(ess)- Daenerys

My theory, events in chronological order:

Lyanna was Knight of the Laughing Tree, that participated in tournament at Harrenhall. King Aerys has sent Rhaegar to find out identity of that mystery knight. And Rhaegar did, but instead of exposing her, he helped her to conceal her secret. He took knight's shield, and hid it in a tree, where he and his people found it next morning, and mystery knight dissapeared. Rhaegar fell in love with Lyanna not because of her beauty, or not only because of it, he fell in love because of her bravery and kindness. Because she protected Howland Reed from his attackers, and later to defend his honor, also defeated three knights, whose squires attacked Howland.

After that attack, Howland all evening was watching Ashara Dayne, dancing with others. But by the end of evening, he was the one whom she took to her tent. When she became pregnant, her brother Arthur demanded who is the baby's father. And Ashara told him that it was Ned. Because she loved Howland, and wanted to protect him. Also she thought that against her brother, Ned will have better chances than Howland. Thus she set him up.

Arthur Dayne thought that Eddard Stark dishonored Daynes' family, so when Prince Rhaegar asked Arthur's help to kidnap Lyanna, he gladly agreed. Wanted to get even with Ned, by stealing his sister for Rhaegar. Though he wasn't aware (or maybe he was) that Lyanna and Rhaegar love each other, and that actually it wont be a kidnapping, it will be an escape planned by both Rhaegar and Lyanna. She didn't wanted to get married with Robert, and this was her last chance to escape. So she informed Rhaegar when and where, he just had to get there and whisk her away.

Meanwhile at Daynes' castle Starfall, Ashara gave birth to a girl. Her wet nurse's name was Wylla.

Rhaegar and Lyanna arrived to Dorne. He annuled his marriage with Elia Martell, and married with Lyanna. Afterwards they lived in Tower of Joy, that was not too far from Starfall. When Lyanna was giving birth to Jon, Ashara Dayne, her baby daughter and Wylla were also there. When Lyanna died, and Arthur was killed in the battle, Ned took to Winterfell Arthur's sword Dawn, newborn Jon and Wylla. And Ashara went with her daughter and Howland Reed, to Greywater Watch. There he introduced her to his people as his wife Jyana Reed, and the baby as their daughter Meera.

Several years later Jyana gave birth to two boys. One of them could have passed for being cranogmen, but the other had blue eyes and blond hair. Thus Jyana contacted Wylla, who all this years lived at Winterfell. She came to Reeds, and took their second boy to Starfall to Dorne. First boy was named Jojen Reed, and second Edric Dayne (though his real name is Ned Reed). The boy himself doesn't know who he really is. Also he thought (and told so to Arya) that he and Jon Snow are milk brothers. That is true, but not in a sense that he thinks. Wylla was Edric's wet nurse, and Jon's wet nurse, but Jon's biological mother was Lyanna.

When Arthur Dayne died, Eddard wanted to give his sword to his sister, but Ashara said that her brother died while protecting his Prince (Jon Snow/Aegon Targaryen), thus she wants him (Jon) to have this sword. After battle near Tower of Joy, Daynes' people staged Ashara's death. And how convinient that she jumped from the tower into the sea, and her body was never found. And if people will even ask where is the Dawn, Daynes can say that sword's whereabouts are unknown, that Ned Stark brought it to Ashara, but then she commited suicide, so her people doesn't know where exactly the sword is, but they think that she put it somewhere in Starfall, prior killing herself.

Sword is hidden in crypts at Winterfell, near Lyanna's tomb. Where later it will be retrieved by Jon, who is Prince that was promissed, and Azor Ahai come again. And Dawn sword is Lightbringer from the prophecy.

Daenerys Targaryen is daughter of Queen Rhaella and King Aerys, and her parents can't be anyone else. She's definitely a pure Targaryen.

Also circumstances under which Dany was conceived and born, make it impossible for her to be someone else child, or to be replaced after birth. Ashara was in Dorne, it was impossible to bring her daughter to Dragonstone, in time for departure of Targaryen royalists, that took Dany and Viserys to Essos. Also Mad King rarely went out of Red Keep. He was at tournament in Harrenhall, but it is very very very unlikely that it was he who had a secret encounter with Ashara. Because it's doubtful that a beauty like Ashara willingly gave her maidenhood to Mad King, at that time he was already very sick and ugly. And if he raped her, she would have told this to her brother, and Arthur to Rhaegar. And they would have killed Aerys. Because enough is enough, even Kingsguard is capable of killing his King, if he will cross the line. For Jaime it was order to kill his father, and also Aerys' intention to burn King's Landing. If Aerys raped and impregnated sister of Rhaegar's best friend, it would've been last drop for Rhaegar's patience.

What I was looking for is Danaerys being confirmed to born in dragonstone nine months after their flight. Would appreciate if anyone posts that.

Most likely Dany was conceived on the day, when Aerys killed Qarlton Chested.

A Feast for Crows, Chapter 16, Jaime II:

"A king has no secrets from his Kingsguard. Relations between Aerys and his queen had been strained during the last years of his reign. They slept apart and did their best to avoid each other during the waking hours. But whenever Aerys gave a man to the flames, Queen Rhaella would have a visitor in the night. The day he burned his mace-and-dagger Hand, Jaime and Jon Darry had stood at guard outside her bedchamber whilst the king took his pleasure. “You’re hurting me,” they had heard Rhaella cry through the oaken door. “You’re hurting me.” In some queer way, that had been worse than Lord Chelsted’s screaming. “We are sworn to protect her as well,” Jaime had finally been driven to say. “We are,” Darry allowed, “but not from him.”

Jaime had only seen Rhaella once after that, the morning of the day she left for Dragonstone. The queen had been cloaked and hooded as she climbed inside the royal wheelhouse that would take her down Aegon’s High Hill to the waiting ship, but he heard her maids whispering after she was gone. They said the queen looked as if some beast had savaged her, clawing at her thighs and chewing on her breasts. A crowned beast, Jaime knew."

Jamie saw nothing, he assumed it was Rhaella.

We also know that there are secret passages

Quote

Maegor's Holdfast is the only building in the Red Keep that has no secret passages, as Maegor "wanted no rats in his own walls", except for one escape door that does not connect to any other passage in the Red Keep

Based on Sansa's escape, and Tyrion's escape, that secret passage leads towards stairs in the wall, and Rhaella was not in an adequate state, to be able to go thru that passage.

That cloaked woman was Rhaella. Why to hide her even from Kingsguards, and to show to them some other woman, who pretended, that she is the Queen?

Wrong passage ways, they didnt' escape from Maegor's Holdfast. That's the King's bedroom.

And if Jamie saw Elia in the morning, then why does Viserys remember a night flight to Dragonstone? He is plenty old enough to remember.  They snuck out, they didn't leave under a royal escort. And Jamie only see's who he presumes is Rhaella, where is Viserys?

That's simple - they were separately brought from Red Keep to their ship, Rhaella in early morning, Viserys, probably, in late evening. It was done to hide their departure from other people. When they were going to Dragonstone, no one, aside from their closest people, knew, that the Queen and the Prince has left Red Keep, that they were going to Dragonstone, and on what ship, from where, and when, were they going to depart. Aerys was paranoid, so it's only logical (in paranoid kind of sense ^_^), that they has left Red Keep separately, in different time, even though they were both going to board the same ship.

But then you have Rhaella (who did not come stealth like to the ship when your escorted by K.G.) sitting on the ship all day while she waits for Viserys (who did come to the ship stealth like due to it being at Night and no mention of K.G. in attendance.) to come at night, easy to kill. That defeats the purpose of stealth and speed, no?

The only reliable hints came from Barristan.  He sees a resemblance between Ashara and Daenerys.  That will not make her the heir even if it is true.  Arthur and Ashara had older siblings, iir.

The one who has the highest chances of being Dayne is Jon Snow.

The Targaryens were successful, posthumously, in creating thelr Prince Who Was Promised in Daenerys.  She hatched the dragons after all.  This would not be possible if her genetics had been only half Targaryen.

Its not about her being heir to the House or Starfall but the position of Sword of the Morning. The idea being that the true sword of the morning is Azor Ahai type figure and his flaming swords are dragons.
