ROUND THREE

Back to the layout of the first round, nine clues split into sets of three. Two points for each correct character answer. 3 points for each of the three mini-themes. That which links these three mini-theme answers will be worth 5 points if you can find it.

1a Blazingly quivers “thine, 'northman'”

1b “Cold reflection only? Reveal our theophile!”

1c “Contemptuous! Requires opposite. Romantic obedience training.”

Mini-theme 1: ???

2a Woman nobly bears moustache. Heated visions console wretchedness.

2b Champion rector opportunely revived officer, tippler.

2c Broken quills tenderly nursed.

Mini-theme 2: ???

3a Cold roads one rode off topic.

3b Warned nasty bitch, making his violent conclusion workable.

3c Cites rumors of romantic overtures, thunderously!

Mini-theme 3: ???

Overall Link: ???

Are the mii themes just some kind of theme we have to discover, or are they explicitly the same as round 1, based on specific words which are common to all in the set?

They are not unlike themes we have had in normal games of Acrophilia. The mini-themes are similar.

I liked author points. My natural bent is to try to communicate despite the obstacles of working with an acronym. Probably not a good idea at this late stage though.

I do not like author points. But I think a lot of easy letters in an acronym gives a good chance to make an interesting and tough clue, instead :ninja:

One supremely quick player has proven something I feared and mentioned but could not find proof of.

Asha is not the answer to 1c

I sure hope it doesn't take a turn for the worse.
