Ha. Not just corrupt. The person was a straight up thief! Grabbed anything of value laying around in crates.

He was a SPECTRE!  By mandate of the Citadel Council he had the right to commandeer anything he felt would help combat the Reaper threat.

I guess it makes our own police look pretty respectable when you consider how many minorities I SPECTER'd in the line of duty...

Joker. It was Joker.

The tale of a man whose bones were hollow.

But his muscles were strong!

With the aid of Space Porn Jeff 'Joker' Maureu (didn't need to look that shit up neither) acquired the skills needed to defeat the Reaper threat!

And you could too! Call now and for only three payments of 29.90,95 credits you can have the same issues as the man who took down Sovereign.

Started playing Hard West after getting it (and its expansion) for like £2 in the last Steam sale. It's pretty good. XCOM meets Deadlands with a bit of The Oregon Trail thrown in for good measure. The branching story which shows what missions you're missing out on (so you can do them in a later replay) is a clever idea.

My main issue is that's it a bit easier than XCOM and the between-battles meta-story decisions are less compelling. But considering the team that made it had far less money, it's a very solid title. Their follow-up, Phantom Doctrine, is another XCOM-alike, but this time set in the Cold War and has a strong stealth focus. It has a much bigger budget and looks more impressive, so I'll check that out when it arrives.

With Phoenix Point only a few months away as well (and with both Divinity: Original Sin II and the upcoming Wasteland 3 having very XCOM-esque combat as well), we're a bit spoiled for XCOM-style games at the moment.

There's also a Mario one for Switch that's supposed to be surprisingly good. But we're also a bit spoiled for Switch games at the moment so I haven't gotten to it yet.

Mario + Rabbids inspired the creative director of XCOM to reevaluate the genre

I'm very interested to try out Kingdom Come: Deliverance, once I read some more reviews. Will be very interesting to see a game that is serious about being historically accurate. It will be a nice change of pace from just another fantasy game (not that there is anything wrong with that - I love fantasy games.)

Looks like the Spyro trilogy is gonna be remastered and out for PS4 Q3 2018. Next to Syphon Filter, those were some of my favorite games in the PS1 days. Hard to picture those games remastered. I think the best part about it was how cartoonish and primitive the graphics were. Color me pumped.

That was the second game I got for PS1 (first was Spyro). It was pretty great. Stuck with me all these years. Never played the 3rd one.

Was it banned? I'm just curious.

Not exactly. I got suspended for a week for trash talking and broke my laptop. Took me a few months to get a new one and I forgot my password. But since I was working 70+ hours a week, I just decided to let it go.

Have you admitted that Casey Kenim threw one helluva pass?

So Hearts of Iron 4 update:

Jace is doing the WWI mod, it's pretty Great.

So here's a little picture.

That's Vienna there in the back of the photo. Italy joined the Allies and after my invasion of Belgium was stymied (Not really the Schliefen plan, I watered it down worse than Moltke!) and I defeated the Russians in 1917 after capturing St. Petersburg. As I tried to rescue the floundering Austrian armies attempting to subdue Serbia, Emperor Franz Joseph died plunging the beleaguered coalition forces into chaos.

Before I even got the straining West Front forces reinforced properly the French and British had launched massive invasions through the Hellenic Republic as my Arabian Expeditionary Armies scrambled to cross the Dardanelles before Istanbul fell to the Egyptian supported Australian invasion of Asia Minor.

They barely made it through Bulgaria before the salient that was forming in the Balkans closed.

Now they're pushing through Austria, as you can see. I am attempting to outproduce the Entente forces in Air power and begin crippling France and GB's abilities to supply their men in the field.

I suspect I can last through 1922 at most.

I just finished The Witcher 3 and loved every second of it. This game definitely lived up to all the hype. I think I finished it at a level 35. My Geralt had on the mastercrafted Feline gear on and looked sick as hell at the end(which made up for the Basic feline gear that was basically a tee-shirt).

So I was a lenient dad figure to Ciri and she became a Witcher in the end, and I rode off with Triss to make a life of our own. I'll take it. Now I'm gonna Youtube the "bad" ending and the Triss-Yen love triangle scene that was talked about before here. I also completely forgot to finish a certain quest line that involved Radovid so he basically got away scot-free. Oopsy.  Now on to the DLC's.

So I've been out of any kind of serious gaming for almost a decade now, so apologies for the dumb question, but does anyone have some recommendations for any good MMOs that are out right now?

I earned my spurs way back during the day of grindcore EQ, switched over to EQ2 for a couple of years and then ended up at WoW before I hung up my controller. I also played some LOTRO and DDO from time to time.

I'd prefer a fantasy based MMO, but wouldn't be averse to other genres. I've looked at SWTOR, but based on what I've read here, I'd rather not start investing time in something that could be shut down before too long.

WoW is still, somehow, the big guy in town, but a lot of people enjoy The Elder Scrolls OnlineGuild Wars 2 I think is still active and has a strong fanbase.
