he is going to carve MLS apart. what a display.  our league is kind of trash. a man of his skill should still be in Europe not stomping the MLS apart.

Well, his career planning always involved him spending his last season(s) in the US. So let's see how many seasons he plays before he retires.

Meanwhile the rumor mill in the Bundesliga is in motion.

Rummenigge has repeated a job requirement for their new manager is speaking German. So that rules out Spurs Poch. Furthermore he said they will announce their new manager some time in April. Most rumours point toward Frankfurt's Niko Kovac (Bobic (Director of Football at Frankfurt was not too impressed with that rumour). He knows the club from his time as a player, and he is friends with Bayern's director of football from their playing days. Also still in the running, Hasenhüttl and Favre.

The goalie market is also interesting. Frankfurt's Hradecky has been linked with both Dortmund and Leverkusen. Dortmund's Bürki has not always played that convincingly and with Weidenfeller retiring at the end of the season they hope to get more out of that position with Hradecky and Bürki competing for the starting role. And Leverkusen might be interested depending on what Leno does. Rumour has it he feels it's the right time to leave the Bundesliga to play abroad and he has a release clause. Atletico is rumoredly interested to sign him as a replacement for Oblak (should he leave), Napoli is another club that has been linked to him, and Arsenal, as they were not too happy with Cech's performance this season.

In other news Heldt expects Meyer to leave Schalke at the end of the season. Arsenal has popped up again as a potential destination as a replacement for Wilshere. Seems like the gunners are linked to any half decent German player that couldn't hide in time.

Alan Pardew is now available. I’d imagine even he could win the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. Not sure he speaks the language, though.

Matip is injured and reportedly out for the remainder of the season, plus Can, Gomez and Lallana won't be available either for at least the next week or two.  It leaves us with very few options ahead of the City game and creates a big risk of fatigue as we play Everton and then City again and then straight on to Bournemouth.

Although Matip has looked a bit shaky lately, I think his style is better suited than Lovren against City.

I think he is more suited to take over from Conte, and he'd be a much better fit there and blend in quite well with parts of the fan scene.

Well, you gotta enjoy another Messi show, and you don't have to worry about the horros City can inflict on Liverpool's defense, well, that could also work the other way round. So yeah, you probably got the less entertaining pairing for US tv tonight.

Yeah, what's up with that, Fox Sports Network?  They routinely show simultaneous Champions League games on FS1 and FS2 throughout the competition.

Also, could they please have someone besides Rob Stone and Stu Holden on the call? Are they actually at the games or calling it remotely?
