Nevets Posted April 20, 2018 Share Posted April 20, 2018 I think it is possible that either the Umbers or Karstarks arranged for Rickon and Osha's presence on Skagos. Manderly wants them for himself, but can't use his own men for the job, since he doesn't want it traced back to him. Davos has no connection so is perfect for the job. I suspect that Manderly could find men in White Harbour to go to Skagos if he wanted to. Wex, in this scenario, could be Manderly's original source, or could be a decoy. It's really hard to say. There were not six pairs of tracks, though. Hodor was carrying Bran - the only way to know there were six people was by seeing them, not by tracking them. Ooops, ninja'd by @Neddy's Girl - I got caught out replying before finishing the thread... ... but this is really the evidence that says Wex so was in that tree.
