Mordred #1 Posted June 16, 2018 Is it still being developed?
Byfort of Corfe #2 Posted July 1, 2018 If I never learned Klingon I sure as hell will never learn Dothraki. In my belief after this HBO season the whole GoT and ASOIAF craze will start to diminish. There will be a little flare up when and if WOW comes out but that will probably pretty much be that.
BlackLightning #3 Posted July 6, 2018 This would be really cool. On 6/30/2018 at 8:11 PM, Byfort of Corfe said: If I never learned Klingon I sure as hell will never learn Dothraki. Dothraki has 2x the appeal of Klingon because it's spoken by humans, it's easier on the ears and it is a language frequently spoken by the heroes and the popular characters of the series (Daenerys, Jorah, Missandei, Drogo, Daario) Some of the show's most iconic scenes are in Dothraki anyways. It depends on how good Winds is, if HBO and GRRM's publishing company join forces to promote it, if HBO starts to push the show in other huge non-Western markets, how good the spinoffs/prequels/sequels are, if Dream ever sees the light of day, if they make a stageplay or animated adaptation in the next decade, etc.
Anthony Appleyard #4 Posted April 28, 2019 Where (online or otherwise) is a full textbook and vocabulary of the Dothraki language? (And of High Valyrian?)
