Mwm
What does he base this on? Close observation of only the important lords? Couldn’t the small folk influence some events like the storming of the dragon pit? How would anyone keep that much information straight and yet foresee every possible outcome? btfu806
I just picture it like chess. You get good at chess by predicting what your opponent will do and basically playing the game several steps ahead of what's actually happening. Now, just like chess, you will miss something causing you to eventually lose (unless the other person misses something first). So when he says that, I don't think he can literally see every possibility, but you try to. Like chess.

Valyrian Lance
Littlefinger assumes that he can see every possible outcome and possibility though he obviously cannot which is of course in direct contrast to Bran's ability to see everything, actually.
