AndrewJ
I think the game needed that goal. France has had the better of the possession, but there hasn’t been much in the way of chances either way. Now Uruguay need to create something (and nearly did there)
Jeor
For all the people saying Lloris has declined, that save was a crucial stop going into half-time. He's still a good international keeper.
AncalagonTheBlack
If Cavani played,we'd have a chance. Not too sure about Suarez,he seems a bit off form.France have too much firepower.
Jeor
Just now, Ancalagon El Pistolero said: France have too much firepower. For all their firepower, Uruguay seemed to be managing them fine - not too many clear-cut chances until that goal. The danger now is that in having to chase the game, that might play right into France's quick counterattacking hands.

AndrewJ
Mbappe was pulling a Neymar* there. (I actually quite like Neymar)
A Horse Named Stranger
Yep, they seem to have the same acting coach in Paris.
Consigliere
Muslera has fucked Uruguay. Stupid of Rodriguez to do what he did to Mbappe but Mbappe clearly play-acted as well. A yellow card for both is deserved. Pogba also unnecessarily getting involved. I think he's on a yellow so a booking would have seen him miss the semis. polishgenius
The reaction of pretty much everyone involved, including the referee but excluding Varane, was embarrassing.
Tijgy
The smile of Mbappe was really infuriating.
Jeor
A pity that there have been a few high-profile goalkeeping errors in this World Cup. It didn't look like Uruguay was going to score again, so it may not have been material to the result in the end, but you never know.
AncalagonTheBlack
And that's the end of our World Cup.
Tijgy
Today there are 500 Belgian fans in Kazan ... and according to the Brazilian media more than 10 000 Brazilian fans.
polishgenius
But on the other hand, on the pitch there is one Belgian Fellaini, but no Brazilian Fellainis, so we know where the advantage lies.Brazil XI: Alisson; Fagner, Miranda, Thiago Silva, Marcelo; Coutinho, Fernandinho, Paulinho; Willian, Jesus, Neymar. Belgium XI: Courtois, Alderweireld, Kompany, Vertoghen, Meunier, Chadli, Witsel, Fellaini, De Bruyne, Hazard, Lukaku.
Philokles
So much talent and you end up picking Chadli, Fellaini and Witsel in midfield together. Martinez showing his League One roots.
