If Robb was trying to do the most honorble thing duty demanded, he would followed the appropriate course of marrying Jeyne-such as asking her patriarch's permission to do so, and giving the dowry(seriously without that he'd basiclly be stealing Jeyne from house Westerling) the patriarch demanded for his daughter's hand. Robb defiling Jeyne does not automatically give him permission much less the obligation to marry her-who she weds is up to her father. ? The dowry goes to the groom/his family, not the bride/her family...

I guess she stole him in more ways than one New theory, Westerlings women are wildling.

Lord Lannister
The last thing Ned needed was people thinking about his sister Lyanna when young Jon Snow was growing up in Winterfell.
Moiraine Sedai
Lyanna had the wolf blood. It's bad luck to have that kind of wildass temper. It's reckless and prone to emotion. Ned didn't want his children to bring trouble the way Lyanna and Brandon did.

BlackLightning
@Moiraine Sedai Too late. LOL From what it looks like, every single last one of them has been blessed with the Stark curse. They all have gotten themselves into some very serious predicaments because of their emotional, daydreamy souls and their own brand of reckless abandon (i.e. half-courage).
