Perhaps Paul will give Vlad his address, that should take care of it.

I repeatedly have said nothing Trump can do can shock me or surprise me anymore, and I have repeatedly confessed I was wrong.

Chalk another one up.

A whistleblower has revealed that probably on Thursday the EPA will suspend California’s right to set emissions standards.

We are now at a Georgia state legislature who dropped his pants and yelled racial epithets while showing his ass.

Do not if this will work for all.

Oh, please, I saw that as well. A Republican showing his ass and yelling N*****? No kidding.

The idea of arming ‘talented’ 5-year olds is just stunning.

Yet the constantly fraidy doggie waggie Dems yelp, "Centerist! Centerist!  Biden! Etc.!" while,

In November, several outright Nazis and white supremacists will appear on Republican ballot lines. Arthur Jones, a founder of a neo-Nazi group called the America First Committee, managed to become the Republican nominee  for Congress in the heavily Democratic Third District in Illinois. The Republican candidate in California’s 11th District, John Fitzgerald, is running on a platform of Holocaust denial. Russell Walker, a Republican statehouse candidate in North Carolina, has said that Jews descend from Satan and that God is a “white supremacist.”

Corey Stewart, Virginia’s Republican Senate nominee, is a neo-Confederate who pals around with racists, including one of the organizers of the violent “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville last year. The longtime Iowa Republican representative Steve King has moved from standard-issue nativist crank to full-on white nationalist; he recently retweeted a neo-Nazi and then refused to delete the tweet, saying, “It’s the message, not the messenger.”

Clearly, the time has come for a serious national conversation. And so political insiders across the land are asking: Has the Democratic Party become too extreme?
Everywhere you look lately, centrists are panicking about the emboldened left.  Moderates,   reported Alex Seitz-Wald of NBC News, “are warning that ignoring them will lead the party to disaster in the midterm elections and the 2020 presidential contest.” Former Senator Joe Lieberman wrote in The Wall Street Journal that the primary victory of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, over Representative Joe Crowley “seems likely to hurt Congress, America and the Democratic Party.” James Comey, former director of the F.B.I., tweeted, “Democrats, please, please don’t lose your minds and rush to the socialist left,” arguing that “America’s great middle wants sensible, balanced, ethical leadership.”

'Warning' is not the same as 'panicking'. And if the article doesn't have a better hook to hang this on than James Comey, I think we can disregard it entirely. Comey is not the Democratic party, 'fraidy' or otherwise.

Here's the bald facts: both the left and the centre of the party can and should have a debate internally, but when it comes down to it, they each need to silence that debate and vote for each other.

That a Republican thinks guns is the solution to everything is kind of Blase as well.

Nevertheless, can we deny the only thing that gets the old white and mostly male Dem establishment truly panicked politically is -- change out from themselves and their seats at the table?

Really, is this not pathetic?  Can you support that?  What is it?  Nothing.  Nothing at all.

Addressing the audience that morning, Cowan introduced a new branding and policy direction that he hoped would drive the middle back to power. He called for the rise of the “Opportunity Democrats,” a line of messaging built out of extensive research that was then presented by Lanae Erickson Hatalsky, a Third Way vice-president whose online bio begins with her proud vote for Ross Perot in a fifth-grade mock election.

Is it more pathetic than Bernie Sanders bragging about how the election result was really all about him, a defeated primary candidate?

Like I say, both wings are entitled to make their case internally. No problem there: internal debate is healthy. So long as they STFU and support each other when it matters.

This is America and frankly this isn’t even new. We learned how to shoot BB guns in the Cub Scouts and were shooting shotguns by the age of 8.

That’s the rub though. Democrats are bad at this while Republicans are great at it. This is because Democrats actually have principles. Republicans don’t, and Trump’s presidency proves that once and for all. Their Orwellian ability to change their positions on a moment’s notice is frightening.

Why?

This guy has already lost in the primary so he definitely won't be elected this year at least. The question now is if he will or won't resign.

Being known as the guy who thinks he can disarm a terrorist with his  bare buttocks does not do a lot for his future prospects.

Everybody knows you need to use a banana.

Hey, we left Crazytown a long time ago and we're on the outskirts of Batshit-Insaneville. I wouldn't rule out any kind of comeback at this point.

Like that's gonna happen with the old white Dem establishments and its stranglehold on policy and resources and terror of losing a seat at the lobbyists' and corps and financial industry's payout table.

In the meantime, the orange nazi's addressing the VFW in Kansas City today.  The entire midtown has been shut down from 4 AM to 4 PM, businesses told to close.  No deliveries.  No foot traffic.  Nothing.  Straight up dictatorship.

Anyway this isn't about Bernie Sanders

It really is. Read the article, it mentions him repeatedly.

I think what you mean is, Bernie Sanders should be excused because for some reason it's OK for him to do it. Or do you not acknowledge that just as the centrist Dems are planning how to defeat Sanders, Sanders is also planning how to defeat them? If you don't, I'm fairly sure I can find you about a dozen articles with a quick Google search.

Which, as I say, is natural and fine, so long as everyone remembers that unity is more important than purity in defeating Trump.
