Give: Devonta Freeman, Will Dissly Get: Nick Chubb, David Njoku, 2019 3rd (late) Baker took over as the Browns QB two days later and Njoku immediately became a startable TE. I had dumped Mack in two leagues, including I think Westeros C, but picked him back up in both last Sunday morning. Seemed like a decent way to short the Bills... Mr. Chatywin et al. Posted October 30, 2018 Share Posted October 30, 2018 The most annoying thing about having so many teams is updating them. Money League: 6-2, 1st place, but it's a mirage. I'm in the bottom half with regards to scoring, but that could just be because I score 80 points one week in a league where teams average >150-175 per week. Westeros A: 3-5, three way tie for 6th, but I have neither tie breaker. Considering this team was dead last two weeks ago, I'm shocked that I still have a chance. The injuries are piling up, and it sucks that I had to trade Thielen, but there's room for hope. Time to make my Experts charge!!! Westeros C: 1-7, lost season. first Mckinnon goes down, then I trade for Fournette and he's played one? game for me. Ugh. My team looked soooo awesome at the start of the season. Damn you, injuries galore!!! Dynasty: 5-3, 4th place. This team is a year ahead of schedule, and I'll have so much cash next year. Some how I scored 221.52 points this past week. I'm not sure I've ever had a higher score before. Thunderdome: 6-2, 3rd place. This team is also a mirage, and I will lose this week because OBJ and Green are on byes and Fuller caught that exploding knee injury. Survivor: First place. My team is overwhelming. Todd Gurley royally screwed me last year, keeping me out of Experts. Now I am riding him to glory. He'll tear his ACL next week because the FF gods hate me. Ramsay B. Posted November 5, 2018 Share Posted November 5, 2018 I just lost 217-164 in one of my leagues that’s a full point per reception. Scored the second highest and got blown out. Dude even started Ingram that got him 2 whole points too. Damn. I traded Luck and Phillip Lindsay for Antonio Brown in another league. I just threw it out there to the last place team and it got accepted. Hopefully it goes through. I’m also hoping Dalvin turned a corner and is at least serviceable down the stretch. Sitting in 7th place. In B I'm 4th in the league in points scored and I'm 3-6 in 8th place. Can the Fantasy Football Gods throw me a fricken bone?! Dunknegg Posted November 9, 2018 Share Posted November 9, 2018 I woke up this morning angry. This year I’m on the outside looking in in both Experts and Thunderdome. That doesn’t surprise me as I’ve moved twice in the past 3 months and will move again in the next few weeks. Couple that with 70 hour work weeks since March and I just haven’t had the time to dedicate to FF like I normally do. Maybe it is all the political vitriol, but I’m going to blame Kaepernick for my bad dream this morning. I dreamed I had Aaron Rogers starting, which is a dream in and of itself, and due to the kneeling issue and the fervor it has caused, the networks are not showing the playing of the National Anthem. I will not say this only recently started as I’ve noticed over recent years they do not air it’s playing because they’d rather make money playing ads. It really irks me because I’m trying to teach my children respect for their country and it makes me proud to see them, without encouragement, to place their hand over their heart and sing the National Anthem before games. I’m not going to get into freedom of speech or the reasons for the protest as that is not the point of this post. The point is that in my dream, right before the start of the GB-NE game which was a late afternoon game in my dream, the network cut back to the game 60 seconds before kickoff to the image of Aaron Rogers being escorted into the locker room with his arm immobilized due to an injury suffered late in pregame warmups. However, since the National Anthem was not deemed important, they waited until the last minute to cut over. I did not have enough time to pickup either his backup and all remaining starters at that time were not available. I lost by 5 points, thus ending my playoff hopes as my opponent and I were vying for the final spot. I also was jaxomed (a distinct possibility this year anyway). I woke up to a cold sweat at 5 this morning and am still in a bad mood. All because of Kaepernick Hopefully, everyone else’s day started better than mine! Little did I know the Panthers would pretty much shut down giving Big Ben the opportunity to share the goodies with every kid present as if he were a kindergarten teacher.
