Forget it, Tywin, it’s Trumptown.

Is that what these forums have become?  Yes, I voted for Obama twice.  Yes, I voted for Clinton in 2016.  Yes, I will be voting for Trump in 2020.  There you go, full and future record of my ballots since I reached the age of voting.

I feel like I'm wasting my time on these threads.  Everyone only wants to hear from people that share the same political ideologies.  This is why I left the party.  The sensitivity level is disconcerting.

The majority of you can go ahead and mock me by coming up with a cute joke.  I hope some of you will actually maintain some common sense and empathize with other schools of thought, especially in real life.

First, you lost all credibility after your main point.  If this story has just become news to you it only proves that you don't leave the flock very often.  Second, you stating that absolutely no one was aware of the story is completely asinine and only indicates a curious level of narcissism.  It's no less important because it doesn't matter to you.

She's been missing since mid-July and the news gravitated towards it because everyone hoped the cute and wholesome girl from Iowa would return.

I consume a lot of news, probably too much, and no not just from liberal sources, and this was a total non-story compared to the Manafort trial and Cohen’s impending plea bargain, as well as several other things. It was barely covered, didn’t show up in any major papers as far as I can tell nor much in the local coverage and I live in the Midwest. There are tons of missing persons stories and they don’t get any coverage really. This one only popped yesterday because the alleged murderer is an undocumented Latino. If he had just been some white American, no one outside of her social circle would have cared. And it’s only getting disproportionate coverage now because the right needs to throw up a news story to distract Trump supporters from the fact that it’s looking more and more like he’s the most corrupt politician in modern memory, and this one works perfectly because anti-immigration sentiments and racial resentment are two of the most common attributes of Trump supporters.

Wow, you've committed to voting for Trump after not voting for him the first time? And after all you know about him? What sold you - the 1 trillion per year extra debt, the 3000 kids separated from their parents for a couple months, committing felonies while running for POTUS or using a foreign government's intelligence arm to gain political value in his election?

I've heard of Molly Tibbets. I don't know why it's that weird. That said, it is getting almost no coverage on anything other than Fox News. Whereas Fox News isn't covering things like the Manafort verdict, the Cohen verdicts, the two congresspeople, etc.

I find this to be among the worst of Xenophobic scaremongering. If Mollie's murderer was not an "Illegal" it will not be mention by Trump or you.

This is a horrible tradegy and in the end is anecdotal. There is no difference with this and countless examples throughout history of horrible events being used as a bloody rag to justify some action.

Anyone that is going to vote for Trump in 2020, you're a bigot. End of story.

I'm not gonna empathize with your twisted xenophobic bigoted world view just because you white wash it with some facile bullshit of its just an opinion. Nah, sorry. Not happening.

People whine about others being sensitive when their bigotry is called out, but then want people to be empathic towards their shitty world view. What you call being senstitive is actually empathy, something you also want people to be with you, but that you also have an issue with when it's not aimed at you and your bigotry but the people you want to target with a hateful vote.

Go vote for the corrupt bigot that puts kids in concentration camps and worships dictators. Do so while trying to tell yourself, with a straight face of course, that you're a good person.

You're not.

You deserve no empathy, no respect, no helping hand. Nothing. You deserve disrespect, misery, mockery, and hate.

You crying over a dead white woman and saying you're going to vote for Trump shows you only give  fuck about white people.

And it's certainly not white women either since a vote for Trump means another 4 years of hard right policies that attack reproductive rights.

You're using a dead white woman to justify your bigotry and bigoted vote.

You don't care about the people of color that will be harmed by the policies put in place by Trump and the GOP, who you'll vote for.

You only care someone with darker skin killed a white woman.

Where was your outrage when that familiy annihilator in Denver killed his wife and their kids? Should white men be banned from having families and owning guns since they murder their own families and shoot up public places and are the ones usually carrying out mass shootings?

Oh no? We only aim oppressive policies to protect your white princess that could be harmed by a dark skinned savage.

This train of thought is no better than how Nazi Germany handled Jews and printed out crimes committed by Jews to justify the horrendous treatment, and eventual genocide, of them.

The main reason being my bias towards him allowing our military freedom to drone strike ISIS consistently to where they are no longer a threat.  I also hope he delivers on his promises to work with the Kurdish people.  I have much respect towards the Kurdish people and hope their state will be recognized by the UN sooner rather than later.  Fun Fact; I actually joke about Trump doing more for women's right than any other president in my lifetime with one of my friends from college who leans to the left and is a feminist from Sweeden.  The reason being, Trump has publicly supported the Kurds and the Kurds actually have fearless female warriors fighting against ISIS.  It could be a pipe dream but hopefully 100 years from now there is a Kurdistan.  They would be a nation that doesn't practice hate against gays, antisemitism, and misogyny.

There are other reasons that I currently don't have time for at the moment.  Real quick though.  In my opinion, Obama's "Red Line" incident was an egregious display of weakness by the commander-in-chief.  I don't like double standards so I do believe Trump deserves the ridicule he receives.  The man took office because of his campaign against "fake news".  However, all must admit what happened at the border this summer was a far cry from what Obama displayed a few years ago with Syria.  Children died, they were separated forever from their parents because of nerve gas destroying their little bodies.  AND, Trump on two occasions has attacked Syrian airbases because of al-Assad trying to repeat the same decisions during this new administration.  I wonder what gave him the idea of America being weak and making empty threats...

P.S. The border situation has been fucked for years, everyone in D.C. deserves blame on that one.  I've worked with over a dozen illegal aliens.  When I worked at a pizzeria for three years, I befriended two Guatemalans that came over illegally.  I loved the guys, we talked about everything.  They worked their asses off each day.  They had tremendous senses of humor.  Above all, none of us were sensitive.  It was not a politically correct environment when customers weren't there.  We busted balls like crazy and it made time go by because it was hilarious.  I completely understood why they came to this country illegally.  Had I been in their shoes I would have done the very same.  However, I still want action taken at the border to stop this epidemic.  A law is a law.  It shouldn't be portrayed as a race issue.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.  Shame on you.  I'm trying to discuss things reasonably on here.  Never mind.

Xenophobia is not reasonable.

Mollie Tibbets death is sad. It is, but one white women dies at the hands of a dark skinned individual and people freak out. While some white guy kills his wife and two young kids and those same loud mouthed bigots didn't say a fucking word nor would support oppressive legislation targeted to harm white men.

Shame on you for supporting Trump.

Fox news is a white supremacist news station. They'll cover a dead white woman at the hands of a dark skinned individual over corrupt white men that are actually a bigger threat to the country and people's safety.

Except...we aren't, because of Syria and Russia. And as we're backing out of Afghanistan just as ISIS establishes there, I don't see how you get this conclusion.

Okay, there's a lot to break down, but the big one is that the US under Trump has backed strongly away from the Kurds. Specifically, the US has stopped arming the YPG at Turkey's behest, has allowed Turkey to attack the YPG without doing, well, anything, and supported Turkey's plan to remove the YPG from Syria

Okay. So because Obama did something bad in 2012 you're voting for Trump in 2020. Got it.

Also, I love how you're upset about the chemical weapons, but are totally fine with Syria's repeated use of bombing civilians in Syria, a practice that continues to this day. Or the US-backed forces bombing the shit out of kids in Yemen. Is it only a problem when the kids are killed chemically?

What I really do not understand at all is that you've already declared for Trump despite there being over 2 years of his presidency left to go and no idea who the actual other nominees might be. This is pretty astounding.

White women are this country's most precious resource and must be cherished and protected at all costs, right up until they ask for bodily autonomy or get sexually assaulted by a Fox News executive or the President.

ISIS was becoming less of a threat under Obama. Under Trump they have gained more ground.

Drone striking ISIS constantly is inneffective since they hide in populated cities, which means lots of dead civilians, which does not help the people of Iraq or our image when it comes to foreign policy. Basically what you support is a war crime.

Lol you think Trump did more for women's rights LMAO. Man, you are really not well informed. Look at his supreme court pick. He is going to overturn Roe V Wade, that does not help women or do more for them. That regresses their rights.

Trump already fucked the Kurds over, or did you ignore how Turkey is killing them now and Trump remains silent on that, which isn't a shocker because he likes Turkeys president who is a dictator and remained silent on his security goons attacking US citizens on US soil.

You seem really misinformed about pretty much everything you're talking about.

How else can the white race stop white genocide? White women need to produce more white babies, even if rape and sexual assault is the way to do it!

well, if the vote comes down to TRUMP vs, a candidate that supports open borders, baby murder, gun grabbing, increased entitlements, SOCIALISM, and an agenda of IMPEACH!!! Well, I guess TRUMP will get my vote again.

Its not that I'm voting For TRUMP, I am voting against the "common sense gun control, fair share of taxes, democratic socialism" agenda.

Why does anyone rationally think either of these two men will serve a day of jail time? Paul manafort and michael Cohen are both rich. In the United States the rich are statutorily exempted from ever serving any jail time no matter the crime.

Its the law: the rich will not go to prison.

has everyone forgotten how the law works?

manafort will get a sentence of eight months (one for each guilty charge) reduced to ankle bracelet house arrest that he will appeal this as grossly unfair to him and another judge will exempt the remainder of his snetance to time served. Then he will convince another judge to order the state to pay all his legal fees for him.

Michael Cohen will get a much lighter sentence.

both will get jobs on Fox News at 6 million a year with an option for ten years with the rate doubling every three years.
