NFL 2018 Week 1: From Wentz You Came

Recommended Posts

Seems like a pretty standard Ravens game where they move the ball through ticky tacky DPIs and missed interceptions.

I can't remember, has there been a real analysis of whether the Thursday night game road teams do far worse than anyone else?

Insanely short week, having to travel, etc.

AJ Green really had a hell of a game in the 1st half.

His first 3 TD game, which actually surprised me.

2-0 without one of our best players (Vontaze Burfict), I’ll take it.

Yea, I'll take 2-0 too.

@Mexal and @Nictarion

Nice looking performance from the Bengals. Making me very nervous for the Steelers facing them in Cincy week 6. It’s usually the most physical and violent game of the year.

I haven't looked, but I automatically assume I'm playing AJ Green in every fantasy league this week.

I faced him in C league and had him in Thunderdome. Thank god the former was also running Baltimore’s D, so it balanced out in the end.

This really puts how bad the Bills are in perspective.

My thoughts exactly. If I was a gambler, I’d bet against them big every game no matter what. Alabama could probably play with them.

It's only supposed to be a 2 week absence, right? Could be a lot worse.

You ready to tussle this weekend, cheesehead?

That's a wonderful QB you've got there. It would be a real shame if something happened to him....

That’s what I’m hearing now, but at first I just read he needs surgery and I feared the worst.

From an article in Slate on NFL Rating. Just found this part funny

Quote

Ratings number that proves the NFL is as good as dead: 28.2.

Sunday’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers earned a ratings share of 28.2 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the worst number for a Cowboys opener since 2009. Sure, the Cowboys are a sad, uninspiring husk of a team this year, but it usually takes Dallas fans at least six weeks to figure that out.

I want to throw some shade at your team, but I'm honestly expecting Aaron to either not play, or get injured immediately playing you - I just don't have it in me. If DeShone Kizer plays against you, the bloodbath will be on Peterman-Ravens level.

Shows how good Rodgers is, though, because with him they are a contender but the second he gets hurt, they become one of the worst teams in the NFL.
