Do you think Harrion Karstark and Edmure Tully are sharing the same cell?

Harrion was taken prisoner after the northern host was smashed near Duskendale (the false orders Roose gives to Robett Glover and Helman Tallhart) by Gregor Clegane and Randyll Tarly. The last news on him was that he was still at Maidenpool.

Edmure was a prisoner of the Freys.

They never crossed paths.

Play along! lol

Well Edmure got captured at the Red Wedding, and is currently on his way to Casterly Rock being escorted by Jaime's men. Is Harrion Karstark even still alive? Arnolf's plan was to declare for Stannis so that Harrion would be executed.

Someone so vital and he never ever appears in the story line. A Quick word search will tell you that. My money is on him succumbing to death or being used as a pawn for best cast scenarios. So much for northern honor to set things right!

Maybe Varys will use Tyrek Lannister and Harrion Karstark as Wardens in the North/West when fAegon comes into his throne?

FYI, he has briefly appeared a few times.

AGOT Bran VI

Quote

Bran watched them come from a guard turret atop the outer wall, peering through Maester Luwin's bronze far-eye while perched on Hodor's shoulders. Lord Rickard himself led them, his sons Harrion and Eddard and Torrhen riding beside him beneath night-black banners emblazoned with the white sunburst of their House. Old Nan said they had Stark blood in them, going back hundreds of years, but they did not look like Starks to Bran. They were big men, and fierce, faces covered with thick beards, hair worn loose past the shoulders. Their cloaks were made of skins, the pelts of bear and seal and wolf.

...

"I welcome you to our fires," Bran said stiffly, "and offer you meat and mead in honor of our friendship."

Harrion Karstark, the oldest of Lord Rickard's sons, bowed, and his brothers after him, yet as they settled back in their places he heard the younger two talking in low voices, over the clatter of wine cups. "… sooner die than live like that," muttered one, his father's namesake Eddard, and his brother Torrhen said likely the boy was broken inside as well as out, too craven to take his own life.

ACOK Arya VII

Quote

The captives ate at their own table in the Hall of a Hundred Hearths, and could often be seen about the grounds. Four brothers took their exercise together every day, fighting with staves and wooden shields in the Flowstone Yard. Three of them were Freys of the Crossing, the fourth their bastard brother. They were only there a short time, though; one morning two other brothers arrived under a peace banner with a chest of gold, and ransomed them from the knights who'd captured them. The six Freys all left together.

No one ransomed the northmen, though. One fat lordling haunted the kitchens, Hot Pie told her, always looking for a morsel. His mustache was so bushy that it covered his mouth, and the clasp that held his cloak was a silver-and-sapphire trident. He belonged to Lord Tywin, but the fierce, bearded young man who liked to walk the battlements alone in a black cloak patterned with white suns had been taken by some hedge knight who meant to get rich off him. Sansa would have known who he was, and the fat one too, but Arya had never taken much interest in titles and sigils. Whenever Septa Mordane had gone on about the history of this house and that house, she was inclined to drift and dream and wonder when the lesson would be done.

The coward lord Mooton holds Harrion prisoner in his castle, the same lord Mooton who watched his own town of Maidenpool burn while he watched and did nothing behind his walls.

He might be Mooton's prisoner but in name only, as in he's lingering in those dungeons until the man who captured him can have him ransomed. Now that Alys is in charge at Karhold, she might be able to do just that, if she has the coin for it that is.

As far as Mooton goes, I would have said it would be interesting to see where he throws down with given his family history of supporting the Targaryens, but his daughter is married to Dickon Tarly, so he'll probably do whatever Randyll wants him to do. William Mooton is such a sad character. I doubt he was the one who was supposed to be the heir.

Ya I agree he is no HEIR, I hate his character so much and we barly even hear anything about him lol. Randyl Tarly controls him because William fears him and if Dickon survives and has children they will NOT be taking the Mooton name there will be a new house Tarly of Maidenpool and rightfully so William deserves the sword.

No, but i seem to recall Jaime telling the Freys that all their prisoners were to be handed over to King Tommen (and be sent to Kings Landing?)

if someone could verify that for me that they were to be sent to KL that would be amazing, i can't do it right now at the moment.

I suppose that would mean Jason Mallister, who gave up Seagard when Black Walder threatened to hang his son outside the castle walls will be heading to Kings Landing, Greatjon Umber and the rest of the survivors from the Red Wedding too.

Jaime turned from Ser Ryman to his son. "Edwyn, I am giving you your father's command. Try not to be so stupid as your sire."

"That ought not pose much difficulty, my lord."

"That ought not pose much difficulty, my lord."

"Send word to Lord Walder. The crown requires all his prisoners." (AFFC Jaime VI)

"If you will pardon me for intruding on your grief," he said, in a dry tone, "we have other matters to consider. When you return to the Twins, please inform Lord Walder that King Tommen requires all the captives you took at the Red Wedding."

Ser Walder frowned. "These prisoners are valuable, ser."

"His Grace would not ask for them if they were worthless."

Frey and Rivers exchanged a look. Edwyn said, "My lord grandfather will expect recompense for these prisoners."

And he'll have it, as soon as I grow a new hand, thought Jaime. "We all have expectations," he said mildly. (AFFC Jaime VII)

Assuming they did meet somehow, if all the prisoners end up in the black cells perhaps. Edmure and Harrion would have undoubtedly discussed the Red Wedding and the execution of Lord Rickard by Robb. Harrion might consider it just deserts for what happened to his father? Would he be pleased to be the new Lord of Karhold? Surely he would know? I guess he would find out now if not...
