Was Robb more Tully or Stark?

I think, that Robb was more Tully than Stark, in looks and in personality.

First of all, he was Cat's favourite child, so she had the most influence on his life, and forming of his character. To raise him, her heir and future Lord of Winterfell, she has dedicated more time and effort, than to all her other children, combined together.

Robb's oathbreaking was Tully-thing, not Stark-thing. Just look at other Tullys - Blackfish refused to marry, left Riverrun and his family, and went to The Vale, because that's what he wanted. Lysa poisoned her husband, because she didn't wanted to let her son to go into fostering, and because she wanted to get married with Littlefinger. Cat did lots of selfish things, just because she wanted to do that. For example - going to King's Landing; capturing Tyrion; releasing Jaime; without consulting with Robb, agreeing to his and Arya's marriages with Freys, etc. Robb, marrying with his Westerling girl, was also a selfish act. He did it, because that's what he wanted. If he, as he has previously promised, has married with a Frey-girl, then Jayne would have been dishonored. If he married with Jeyne, then dishonored would have became the Freys and their girl. No matter what Robb would have chosen, he would have still became a traitor. Though the difference is that, first of all, he didn't gave a promise to Jeyne, that he will marry with her, when she has jumped into his bed. And second - Robb prefered to marry with Jeyne, and to dishonor that Frey-girl, because he liked Jeyne. Thus his decision, with whom to marry, was made, based on his personal preferences, and thus was an act of selfishness, Tully-style.

He was a dumbass, so obviously more of a Stark.

That could apply to the Tullys as well. They make plenty of impulsive, ill-informed decisions that cause a lot of trouble.

  • Hoster forcing Lysa to abort her child with Petyr, then marrying Lysa to Jon Arryn, which put Lysa in close proximity for Petyr to manipulate her, and creating a situation where Lysa was creepily overprotective of her son Robert, which leads to Lysa poisoning Jon Arryn and framing the Lannister.
  • Catelyn saying Jon should have been pushed out of a window by an incestuous kingslayer, kidnapping Tyrion at the Crossroads Inn and later freeing Jaime to get her daughters back.
  • Lysa poisoning Jon Arryn, inadvertently creating a situation for Tyrion to free himself, and trying to kill Sansa out of jealousy.
  • Edmure loses some battles and gets captured because he's a Leeroy Jenkins, then later on he attacks Tywin's forces at the Battle of the Fords, allowing Tywin to slow up on chasing Robb's forces and receive word of Stannis's march on King's Landing, which leads to Lannister victory at the Battle of the Blackwater, Roose and Walder making deals with Tywin and the Red Wedding.

Tommen is a child and isn’t Brienne tricking either Jamie or Cat right now?

Whether or not Tommen is a child matter not. We've seen children lie or misrepresent themselves many times in the series.

But my mind was blocking Jaime's last chapter for some reason. Brienne has to be lying to one or the other.
