Angel Eyes
So when the Rebels in Robert's Rebellion reached King's Landing, what were they going to do with King Aerys? Throw him in a dungeon? Hold a trial? Have Ned execute him?
shameeka
I think Ned would have suggested that Aerys should take the black.

I can't see that Arya would be worse than worthless at the wall. Add that with the executions of his brother and father I'd say Aerys loses his head. Megorova
Probably Jon and Ned would have wanted to hold a trial, by the Great Council, that would have decided what to do with Aerys, and also would have chosen new King, most likely Viserys, with several regents, including Jon Arryn, Ned Stark, Hoster Tully, Robert Baratheon, probably Tywin Lannister, one of Martell, and one of Tyrells, like seven regents of Aegon II. Though Robert has planned exactly what have happened - to kill all Targaryens. The only deviation from his original plan, is that Elia and her children were killed prior he arrived to King's Landing, and his brother failed to seize Viserys and Dany. Bael's Bastard
They would have eventually executed him: "Seven hells, someone had to kill Aerys!" Robert said, reining his mount to a sudden halt beside an ancient barrow. "If Jaime hadn't done it, it would have been left for you or me." (AGOT: Eddard II)
Euron III Greyjoy
I imagine the plan was to kill him, well for Robert at least. Ned and Jon would've probably wanted to take a more honorable approach, like holding a trial or something.
Ralphis Baratheon
It was probably too dangerous to send Aerys to the Wall. Maekar tried that with Bittersteel and it didn't work out well. Plus I don't see Aerys excepting the option of taking the black, he would probably request to be burned alive so he could turn into a dragon. If he did take the black and the rebels were foolish enough to crown Viserys he would probably free Aerys from his oath once he became of age, as Viserys would consider the rebellion illegal voiding Aerys vows he was forced to take upon penalty of death. 300 H&H Magnum
When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. All of these dudes were playing the game. It all started with Robert and Rickard conspiring against their king. They were going to kill Aerys.
Arthur Peres
No doubt they would Kill Aerys. Robert already had made clear his goals to take the throne by the time of the Trident, and he needed Aerys dead for it to work. Robert told Ned that he didn't care that Jaime killed Aerys because one of them would do it anyway. Ned problem with the murder of Aerys was that Jaime broke his oath. If Jon, Ned or Robert had reached KL and took the city they would kill Aerys without a second thought.

If Rickard, Robert, Eddard, and Brandon were plotting against him. Rickard and Brandon got what they deserved if they were plotting against Aerys. I will even say Brandon got off a little too lightly if he were plotting to remove the Targaryens from power. If they were conspiring against his family, Aerys should have done to the Starks and the Baratheons the same thing he did to the Darklyns.
