Corvo the Crow
Rickard Karstark fought Ned's war and wanted Alys to marry Robb but it didn't happen. He fought in Robb's war and lost two sons with a third captured but all he got in return is the slayer of his son getting freed by the woman who is the wife of the man who wouldn't marry his son to his daughter, the woman who is the mother of the boy he wanted her daughter to marry, and not even get punished for it. I can see the hard feelings growing even harder from this. Catelyn is no Stark but she's mother to the current Lord Stark and the first Stark King in 300 years besides and she is still at an age where she could bear a child. Apparently, Rickard Karstark is also a widower with no mention of Lady Karstark by anyone, ever. Would that bridge the gap between these two houses that started with Ned's refusal of a marriage? Brandon Ice-Eyes
Not in the slightest, neither parties would agree to it either.
Euron III Greyjoy
If theory the match makes sense, but I don't think either of them would go for it.
Lord Lannister
There is that minor detail of the both of them resenting, if not outright hating one another.

Why would Cat hate lord Rickard? He has done nothing but lose two sons protecting her son Robb. She knows he hates here yes but she shouldnt feel it back in the least. Nope. The Karstark plot is necessary for Robb's downfall to work.
