Lord_Tarly
Hi everyone, don't you think things are unrealistic regarding this episode? How can the Lannisters attack and take Highgarden without any siege towers, catapults or any other military structure?
Angel Eyes
Oh, there’s plenty. There’s a lack of siege equipment in general in the series barring the occasional battering ram and mammoth equipped with chains. How quickly the Reach shifted from the Tyrells to the Lannisters and how fast the Tyrells fell is pretty unrealistic too.
Byfort of Corfe
Or maybe it fell the way that Antioch fell to Bohemund, he found a traitor to open the gates.
Euron III Greyjoy
Game of Thrones gave up on realism a while ago. The writers realised that all they need to do is show off some cool action sequences, and flash some tits every know and again, and the general audience member will love it.
