Yeah. TWoIaF will be adjusted.

Thanks!

Should be assume all differences between earlier published versions and F&B follow the same route, with F&B's info being correct? Things like Myriah vs Mariah Martell, the hair colour of Princess Rhaenyra (silver to black), etc.

Additionally, could you comment on the name of Borros Bararheon's son? He is named Olyver, and said to  have been named for his mother's father, but that father is identified as Royce Caron at some point. Should that be Olyver Caron then?

Pretty much in all cases, yes, F&B is George taking a chance to tweak some things.

We've flagged it but don't know what the decision is as of yet.

Was Balon Byrch moved from the Old Gate to the Iron Gate?

Quote

The gold cloaks at the Old Gate and the Dragon Gate sallied forth under the command of their captains, Ser Balon Byrch and Ser Garth the Harelip, and by midday had managed to restore some semblance of order to the streets north and east of Rhaenys's Hill.

and a few paragraphs later...

Quote

She gave command of the gold cloaks to Ser Balon Byrch, captain at the Iron Gate, sent ravens to Winterfell and the Eyrie pleading for more aid ...

@Ran

In the appendix it still says Daeron II brought Dorne into the realm by marrying Myriah but we know from TWOIAF that it was when he married Daenerys to Maron that Dorne was brought into the fold.

What version of her name is in the end correct @Ran? Mariah or Myriah?

During the early years of Aegon I's reign a Lady Sunderland rebels and claims a crown. When defeated her younger brother is made the new ruler of the Sunderland lands.

Did she overthrow a parent or brother to become ruler or did/do the Three Sisters practice Absolute primogeniture? And if they do are there other none Dornish lands that practiced that before Jaehaerys codified the law?

Those are questions not errata. And I doubt there is a clear answer to that since we have no idea about the Sistermen and the Sunderlands during the times of the Conquest. But Marla Sunderland definitely implies that equal primogeniture was thing in some part of the Seven Kingdoms outside of Dorne. The crucial part there is that Sistermen actually proclaimed Marla their queen similar to how Robb was proclaimed king - at least that's what the history implies. This does not imply a coup on Marla's part or anything like that. If that was the case Gyldayn would have likely told us that Marla Sunderland declared herself queen or something along those lines.

Overall it should be kept in mind that the laws of the Seven Kingdoms were a mess - there were not only different laws between those kingdoms but also different laws within the borders of those kingdoms, differing between region and region - and perhaps even from lordship to lordship. This would have also affected the succession laws, especially when they were ruled by precedent. For instance, a lordship or throne going repeatedly to a younger brother, daughter, or (legitimized) bastard instead of a trueborn son would inevitably strengthen the claims by the very existence of such precedents.

In the regions ruled by lordships and thrones which always - or nearly always - passed from father to son the legal assessment of such claims would be much weaker.

This implies that Marla Sunderland was likely not the only ruling queen/lady of the Three Sisters in the history of Westeros. Else she would have likely never been proclaimed queen.

I don't know whether this is an actual error, or me misinterpreting the text, but Alysanne and Jaehaerys's son Gaemon is said to be born in 73 AC, live for three months, and then die in the first days of 73. How is this possible? Unless it means that Gaemon died in the first days of 74 AC, but then the book goes on to describe other things that happened in 73, implying they all took place after Gaemon's birth and death.

I'm not sure if this an error but it mentions that Jonquil Darke is bastard daughter of Lord of Duskendale. Did her father legitimize her by marrying the mother? And in the book, it's mention that Lord Daemon Velayron died of the shivers but is alive when Lucamore Strong is sent to the wall and one of his bastards is sent to live with Daemon on Driftmark.

Perhaps the Darkes was founded by Jonquil.

And Lord Daemon is never mentioned to have died from the Shivers. He nearly did but recovered, but three of his daughters and second son died.
