The Valyrias is beginning to raise, in Westeros, I believe the time period was Age of Heroes in that age, peace was between First Men and Children. Now the War of Dawn was set around 8000 years. Now GRRM says that dates are wrong that Wall is only 5000 years so the Long Night happen 3000 years earlier than Masetors said it did?. What is going on here? Did the Andals battle with Others?. I believe that The Long Night happens after the Age of Heroes and the Andals invasion began 6000 years ago, so the Andals NEVER meet the Others. https://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Timeline_of_major_events Please Help! In the books the history is left intentionally vague so you can wonder about some of these things... GRRM has not said which dates are accurate or not. "The prequels" are not upcoming books by George RR - they're spin-off teevie series from HBO. Might be better discussed on the teevie side of the forum?
