Every year we can name at least 5 more actresses which deserved to be nominated. And while it is a phrase "it is honor to be nominated" these years, it can be rightfully said so. We had actresses who were given amazing material who elevated their respected dramas. So, in ten years we had: 1. Julianna Margulies "The Good Wife" 2. Claire Danes "Homeland" 3. Elizabeth Moss "Mad Men"/"The Handmaid's Tale" 4. Tatiana Maslany "Orphan Black" 5. Robin Wright "House of Cards" 6. Michelle Dockery "Downton Abbey" 7. Kerry Washington "Scandal" 8. Viola Davis "How to get away with a murder" 9. Claire Foy "The Crown" 10. Evan Rachel Wood "Westworld" Each and every one of these actresses has been nominated for more than one time. And you can almost, close your eyes and pick a winner in each year without making a mistake. The category has been insane and truth be told, I have enjoyed this embarrassment of riches. I was surprised to see tie at CCA. That said, don't expect these things at Oscars, Emmys etc. For example to get a tie at Oscars, two actresses would need to have: exact same number of n.1 votes, exact same number of n.2 votes, exact same number of n.3 votes, exact same number of n.4 votes AND exact same number of n.5 votes. Given that there are 6000+ members of Academy, it is statistically improbable to happen.

Ran
What the hell is Bateman doing winning that award? A cardboard cut out of him would be as emotive.

It seems to be a weak set of nominations in general for that award. How anyone from Jack Ryan got close to an acting award is beyond me. Having said that, I really like Batemans performance in Ozark, its purposefully stilted and emotionless.. except at the right moments.
Corvinus85
I don't watch Glow to judge on their stunt team, but Daredevil's stunt team outdid themselves this season. Too bad they didn't win.

I get it's supposed to be the character but it's also Jason Bateman in everything.
Mladen
Comedy-wise, OK... This was expected, Crisis also deserved an award for TAOGV. Sandra Oh also became expected winner. But, Ozark? I haven't seen it, but given 4 noms, I would say actors do love it. I find it outrageous that The Americans' Rhys and Russell didn't earn nominations but SAG always had some rather weird choices once they stopped being Oscar barometer. 3 hours ago, Corvinus said: I don't watch Glow to judge on their stunt team, but Daredevil's stunt team outdid themselves this season.
