Vaith
Well, they did a pretty good job of pretending there were stakes while only killing off 5 or 6 characters. Can't wait for the True Big Bad, Cersei, to get some screen time next week!

The rejection of St. Tyrion. Revenge of the Nerds! She WILL appreciate him! GRRM gave her this great story, but they fixed it.

Well in S7 Dany didn't want to siege the city because D&D didn't want Dany to curbstomp Cersei's army in 2 episodes because ... sieges lead to people starving or something? Leaving plenty of time for the Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage Emmy reels. Everyone is going to service their plot now. If Arya is able to do what she did at the end of this episode, couldn't she sneak up on Cersei and cut her throat within ten minutes of the next episode? The conflict should be over completely. Exactly. Arya is a superhero. And killing the NK wasn't earned, in terms of her own story. This part of the story was the focus of Bran's and Jon's story from the beginning. And she doesn't even seemed to have suffered any ill effects. Bran and Jon are deeply affected emotionally and physically. Arya is just bouncing around happily in the preview. bloodsteel bitterraven
I was very much looking forward to this season, knowing that I will never get a conclusion to the books from George, but I am really disappointed. I am not even that excited for the last 3 episodes. Benioff and Weiss can go eff themselves.

Really? 2 eps of build up for a battle we can t see, dragon fights we can t understand what is happening, no ww fights in the battle and it all ends with Arya wolverine for some reason killing the NK... If we add that r+l=j was awfully done and had no use I Don t know how this season could be any worse...
Trigger Warning
Did the writers forget they spent 8 seasons talking about the threat of the Others dwarfing the stakes of the political machinations of all the characters, this was set up in the first scene, hahahah bravo D&D, better watch out for Cersei and her... non-claim to a throne and sellsword company. They pissed the political plot up the wall years ago, they could have actually done something semi interesting with the Long Night. They truly have no idea what they're doing. theladyinspring, Prince of the North and Ser Quork
