Ran
Not really a deal, per se, but at File 770 I saw that Emma Bull and Will Shetterly have the rights back to the Liavek shared world anthologies and have reissued them on various e-book services, including Amazon Kindle (this links to the full collection they've made of the five anthologies, but you can also buy individual entries to try them out). I have personally never read this Arabian Nights-inspired fantasy setting, which developed after the success of the Thieve's World anthologies (Wild Cards similarly followed in their footsteps), but the list of contributors is impressive: Nancy Kress, Megan Lindholm (aka Robin Hobb), Alan Moore (whose story was turned into a four part comic series), Steven Brust, Gene Wolfe, Jane Yolen, Walter Jon Williams, of course Bull and Shetterley, Charles de Lint, Barry Longyear, Jane Yolen, John M. Ford... Edited July 21, 2020 by Ran
