Do landed knights have vassal lords/landed knights beneath them?

Well I guess this is quiet easy to answer. Yes. Some houses of landed knights are lords in all but name, my first thoughts go to house Templeton. They have a lot of land and in this system they have to manage it. So I think that there are landed knight below them but no lords. Hierarchy doesn't work like that. If you're a lord, no knight will tell you what to do. Otherwise your lordship will be revoked soon

In the world book, picture for the great council of 101 has Hoare flags all over the walls. Why?

Because that gathering took place at Harrenhal, the castle build by Harren Hoare. So, maybe, Marc Simonetti, the artist that made that picture, looked thru coats of arms of the Houses, that owned Harrenhal, and either he didn't knew, that in 101 the castle was owned not by House Hoare, or he knew, that Hoares weren't Lords of Harrenhal anymore, but still chose to use their banners, as decorations in that picture, either for some specific reason or just because. Would be weird if Hoares' banners were hanging in some other castle, but there's nothing weird about them being present in Harrenhal. Hoares build Harrenhal, so at least they deserve to be acknowledged for that. So those banners could be there as a gesture of acknowledgement. Or they are there for superstitious reasons, as a protection against ghosts of Hoares and their people, that were burned at Harrenhal.

Wasn't Lollys raped behind a tanner's shop?

Maybe they found her there? She was missing the whole night.

Stannis had 3000 soldiers, sellswords, freeriders and a huge fleet with all their crews, including pirates? Why didn’t he strike at KL while Renly was slowly moving and Tywin was busy in RL?

Because he would have failed miserably. He had no way of taking the walls with that paltry force. By Dance, his desperation is several notches higher, and he's trusting in part to the idea that the Bolton forces are fractious and not operating fully together and in part to the idea that he can lure them from the walls to prepared ground where he believes he'll be able to have an advantage. But it's a roll of the dice he has to make.

Renly seemed to think Dorne was soon going to join him with all their power, which could suggest that he had already been in communication with them and was receiving answers that could be construed that way (at least if one wanted to read them optimistically). Or he was just assuming they'd see the sense once he had King's Landing under siege.

Stannis did not know about the Antlered Men or really anything about the condition of King's Landing.

He also had Melisandre telling him that if he did not deal with Renly, Renly would smash him no matter what he did.

I wonder why Jon was so hellbent on saving the wildings at Hardhome. I know it was a humanitarian mission but he had enough to do keeping the Night's Watch together.

Jon was concern was twofold: 1) about saving lives, his motive coming from the Night's Watch vows, "the shield that guards the realms of men, " and 2) More people alive, fewer zombles.

Quote

The remainder of the year 131 AC was a time of departures, as the great lords of Westeros took their leaves of King’s Landing one by one to return to their own seats of power. Amongst the first to flee were the Three Widows, after bidding tearful farewells to the daughters, son, siblings, and cousins who would remain to serve the new king and queen as companions and hostages. Cregan Stark led his much-diminished host north along the kingsroad within a fortnight of the coronation; three days later, Lord Blackwood and Lady Alysanne set out for Raventree, with a thousand of Stark’s northerners as a tail. Lord Lyonel and his paramour, the Lady Sam, rode south for Oldtown with their Hightowers

First, there's an error, only Johanna could leave at that time, since Elenda didn't attend the wedding, and Samantha's leave was described later.

Second, who's the "son" supposed to be? It seems only Lady Sam's step-sons, Martyn and Garmund could fit. Given Garmund's later marriage, my bet is on him.
