Top 5. Who will die in The Winds of Winter

Anybody can die but if I have to make this prediction, yeah, these.

Euron will be killed by the Damphair's followers.  A godless man can't have the Sea Stone chair after all.

Khal Jhaqo will die screaming for what he did to Eroeh.

Skahaz, killed by Hizdahr's kin within the walls of Meereen.

Wayman Manderly, his crimes of cannibalism will not go unpunished.

Jaime, because it's only in comfort fiction fairy tales where every bad guy gets to earn redemption.

You are all going to be wrong about Barry. There's a whole story there. Living to be humbled by Jaime's explanation for killing Aerys. To have the game of thrones thrust on him. To witness Dany's spiral into "madness" and getting a second chance to decide if he should rescue another bad ruler the realm would be better off without. To turn cloak on Dany for Aegon, because he's the better more sane ruler, or refuse that temptation for honour. Or is the true temptation his forbidden once in a lifetime love Ashara Dayne Lemore, nestled deep within the Aegon camp?

Barry will play a part in the coming dance,

How about this option? (it's a speculations based on hints from the books) - Septa Lemore is fAegon's mother, and also she is Lady Jeyne Swann, the lady that was saved by Barristan Selmy from Kingswood Brotherhood, at about the same time, as Elia's Aegon was conceived at King's Landing. The septa, that was escorting Jeyne in Kingswood, was actually Shiera Seastar in shadow-glamour. She prepared love-potion, they gave it to Barristan, and Jeyne seduced him, because she needed to have his child, at that time and that place, while the comet was passing above them (for that child to fit into the criteria of the prophecy. Shiera used her knowledge of the prophecy, and tried to manipulate fate, and create her own Promised Prince). It's a parallel to Sybell Spicer, preparing love potion for Jeyne Westerling, to seduce Robb Stark. Jeyne (Westerling) here, and Jeyne (Swann) there; SS-witch (Sybell Spicer) here, and SS-witch (Shiera Seastar) there; S (Stark) here and S (Selmy) there, Robb - single R and double B, Barristan - single B and double R. So Barristan is fAegon's father. In ASOIAF him and Jeyne are parallels to Florian the Fool and Jonquil. So they will repeat the same fate, as what has happened in The Hedge Knight with dolls of Florian, Jonquil, and the mummers dragon. Barristan and Lemore will burn, and fAegon will be ripped apart. Prior his death Barristan will betray Dany for the sake of his son, and that will be the last out of three treasons, predicted to Dany by the Undying, the treason for love. So Barristan, probably, will die closer to the end of the series, not in TWOW.

That's fan fiction.

So list your top five predictions to die in the next book.

  1. Aeron
  2. Robin Arryn
  3. Sansa
  4. Barristan
  5. Bowen

Robin Arryn might surprise you.  He knows what's going on.  They want him dead and he knows it.  It'd be great if he turned the tables on L-F and Sansa.  He kills them before they kill him.

Barristan is a maybe.  Too many horns on the battle field will create confusion for his army.

Sansa is a maybe.  It all depends on Robin Arryn.

Bowen should be safe.  At least from the crows.

My selection:  Samwell Tarly, Mago, Ramsay, Wayman, Stannis.

You made me curious. What makes you think that Sansa will die in twow? Under which circumstances?

The rest are fine guesses

1. Brienne : I think only one of them is going to come back from her and Jaime's trip and I predict that Brienne will sacfrifice herself in order to uphold her honour and keep both her vow to LSH and her obligation to Jaime.

2. Tommen and Myrcella : I don't think Cersei will be far behind, but depending on the pacing of the next book, I suspect that she'll make it to the end (just)

3. Littlefinger : His plotline is coming to an end and I can't see him having much of a role in the war against The Others. I think once Sansa has absorbed what she needs to learn from him, his time is up.

4. Bloodraven : Similar to LF and Sansa - Once he's fulfilled his role in mentoring Bran, he has to go in order for Bran's plotline to move onto the next level.

5. Ramsay : The whole Stannis, Jon, Ramsay plot is coming to a head and I can't see old Rams coming out of it alive.

JON (albeit Melissandre controls his body via charme)

STANNIS and Ramsey (through Pink Letter scheme)

MYRCELLA, Margaery and Arianne all die in attempts to be wed to Aegon, who is killed by Ironborn whereas Cersei left King's Landing early

CERSEI because of Tommens alledged death - in truth Jaime kidnapped him to lure her to Casterly Rock, when later his and many others deaths give cause for a Great Council

LADY STONEHEART (by giving Brienne the Kiss of Life, who was already resurrected by Thoros in AFFC because she really died after her fight with Biter)

Do you really think that Littlefinger is a real human being with will of his own? Or do you think he is a character in a fantasy novel dubbed ASOIAF written by someone called George Martin?

1.  Tommen Baratheon

2.  Myrcella Baratheon (the deaths of her remaining children will make Cersei even more dangerous for the final volume)

3.  Margaery Tyrell (a keystone in breaking the Lannister/Tyrell alliance)

4.  Littlefinger (if the final book is, as I suspect, to focus more on the Others vs. Humanity war, Littlefinger would be best killed before he has a chance to make things more complicated).

5.  Shireen Baratheon (she's stuck at the Wall where there are many Wildlings who want her dead; as well as Melisandre who would think her a prime candidate for sacrifice, due to her 'king's blood'; especially if Mel is trying to resurrect Jon).

I could be wrong about Littlefinger and he might be killed or ruined in the final book.  I doubt that both Rickon and Sansa will survive the series; but if Sansa dies, I think it will be in the last book, not in WoW.

I'll be brief.

1. Vic - too stupid to live.
2. Bowen Marsh - I think Tormund will want more than a word.
3. Daario - It will piss Dany off to no end.
4. Hizdar - He doesn't seem to have much of a story left imo.
5. Wyman Manderly - hopefully in a blaze of die-hard glory.

1. Myrcella

-Doran will kill her to prove his loyalty towards Aegon or discovers shes not useful anymore (twincest gets confirmed or the Lannisters go down)

-Aegon kills her himself ( ship to KL got hijacked)

2. High Sparrow

Cersei has free hands after Kevans death and the HS is the third name after Tyrion and Margaery on her death list

3. Balon Swann

Very bad cards against Darkstar or he listened to a treasonous plot about crowning Myrcella

4. Mace

Mace bad assesment skills, his idea of having a king as grandchild and his idea of beeing a great commander will lead to his downfall

5. Walder Frey

Hes a burden for his heirs and allies
