Platypus Rex
This is a poll. Please answer "Yes" or "No" to the following question: Are Daario Naharis (Dany's lover in Slaver's Bay) and Euron Greyjoy (now king of the Iron Islands) one and the same person? For context, this theory is inspired by various similarities in appearance and personality between Daario and Euron (cocky, comely, bloodthirsty, likes cutting out tongues, a blue eye or blue eyes); and other alleged clues (salt stains on Daario's boots, shared interest in Dany, and Daario's two months-long absences from Dany, Daario's). Detractors of the theory say it requires teleportation. Defenders say it only requires Euron to "ride the storm" via human sacrifice, replicating Melisandre's feat in getting Stannis' fleet to the Wall in record time, and that a steady 12 knots should get him from Slavers' Bay to the Iron Islands in under 3 weeks. Detractors say it cannot be reconciled with the timeline. Defenders claim this timeline is a fan-made construct that does not take into account GRRM's caveat that the chapters in Storm of Swords may not be in chronological order. Another objection is that Euron's hidden eye is black, and not blue like Daarios. This has been answered by the suggestion that Euron wears a patch to preserve his night vision, and that maximum dilation can make an eye appear black, especially in low light conditions. That's probably enough context for now. While our "Compendium of Theories" refuses to give this idea the time of day, a "Euron = Daario" google search will probably find as many arguments you wish, on both sides. Please feel free to give reasons for your answer. However, I again ask that you not argue with the reasons given by other posters for at least a couple of pages. After that, have at it. EDIT: To clarify a question asked by Divica, the theory is that they are physically the same person. If you think that Euron is warging Daario, feel free to say so, but that would be a "No" vote. 3 in favor to 43 against, so far. divica
why not just say that euron can warg into daario or that he can be in several people at the same time with his psichic abilities in a similar way to the others and wights? It would eliminate most critics...

divica
Just now, Platypus Rex said: I won't argue. Should I count you as "No"? If they are phisicaly the same person? I think affc/adwd/aeron's chapters prove that it is impossible. We know that euron sent victarion to danny and stayed near westeros attacking Islands in the reach. On the other hand daario has been near danny during the second half of dance and victarion is only now arriving in meereen… Therefore it is impossible for them to be phisically the same person.
