I only use it at home when it’s either really hot or feels really humid, I only turned it on for a while today just to make the house feel nicer, but I tend to use it more in a car, especially as I stupidly picked mine with a black leather interior which feels like an oven to get into when you haven’t parked in the shade. I’ve already switched over to skirts/dresses they feel so much more pleasant . Also I think Buck strikes fear into the heart of her students, she is another Sith hiding in plain sight!. I am supposed to have a week of vacation from this afternoon, but I am still working. (This isn’t one of my work problems, those are far more serious and long-term and doing overtime.) The issue here was something else (boring details described below). Spoiler It was a miscommunication and general professional disagreement with another colleague, which resulted in a shit service proposal, which I offered to rewrite for a bunch of passive aggressive reasons and because I felt responsible for its being shit. My boss originally wanted the other colleague to rewrite it because I have(had) the week (and Friday afternoon) off. Moral of the story for me: the job and your professional opinion always come first, never compromise in order to make somebody else (and their misguided ideas) feel included or to not undermine their (undefined) role and position. Moral of the story for the company: always define people’s positions and responsibilities and roles in certain processes to avoid interpersonal tension and shit service proposals. I am seriously considering calling the police now. There are plenty of families with small children living in the neighbouring buildings. I wonder how those are coping with it.
